If your looking for a good cup of coffee and friendly service this place is great. I’m very picky about my coffee since I drink it no frills so it has to be quality. I ordered a red eye and it is the best I have had since we moved here last year. Nothing beats a good local coffee shop.

Second time, meeting a friend at Avon Café. It is convenient, and a great location, different, relaxing, pretty and a cute environment, but I would avoid. Better value can be found at Panera Bread. Having a reputation of poor value and receiving little for the price, rude customer service, slow service and not maintaining inventory. Both different times, both young ladies at the cash register, different each time were always on there mobile phones. Each time at Avon Café, I simply wanted a Tuna Wrap with vegetables. Each time, I was told the cheese I wanted, or the wrap needed to make what I wanted was not available when both ladies simply did not take the time to look for each ingredient, or item. Great environment, and quality, but ingredients for menu items available at Avon Café can easily be purchased, customized and made for less when shopping at a local grocery store.

A quaint location sort of a cross between a small café and an antique store. I ordered a rootbeer but they were out. I ordered a chili dog but they were out of buns. I got a bowl of chili, which came in a styrofoam container. It was OK but very lightly seasoned so I added some fritos to add a little flavor since it didn’t come with crackers. Overall pretty disappointing and the service was pretty poor.

Ah man. Unfortunately Cara L was right on the money. Avon Café is SUPER cute inside and out, with polite and pleasant service. I had a pretty weak Campfire Mocha last week and went in again yesterday to give it another whirl. I got a breakfast bagel and a large Milky Way drink. That ran me… wait for it…$ 10.50!!! I respect a good breakfast bagel(which it was decent), but I’ve never met one worth $ 4.50, unless this one was infused with gold flakes or some such… another weak coffee that went down like a super heavy syruppy hot chocolate versus a coffee beverage. And again I agree with the previous reviewer… Avon Café seems to have so much potential, I wanted to love it, but just couldn’t. I will be back in a while to see if things have improved!

Decided to try this little hidden coffee shop in Avon… it was a chilly day in Cleveland and decided to give it a try… Coffee was great and the owner was friendly. My friend and I tried some of their desserts by La Bellaria — well their Baklava Bar was fantastic with coffee and the lemon cookie was like a little bit of summer in your mouth… you could really taste the fresh lemom and zest!!! We grabed a bag of this popcorn mix to go and ate it at my nephews game — it was delicious and we wished we had gotten more. Not sure what the rest of the menu taste likes but if this is any indication we will be back for more!

A very cute little locally owned café, but not much to back it up. It’s quite unfortunate too, because they have a beautiful stone patio to chill on and the owner is awesome. I hate saying this, but when you order a large coffee the cup should be filled. What my BF got was a 60% filled cup and that is unacceptable. There was no signage or information about the coffee they used and the brew was very weak. It just doesn’t have the convenience factor for a professional to grab some joe on the go. Plus, I couldn’t connect to the WiFi and the employees have to give you the password. The food we ordered was just not good either. Tuna melts do not need to be caked in mayo – but I feel like NEO doesn’t understand this in general. There was hardly any tuna meat on the sandwich and the portion was super small. I give this place two stars because I feel like there is some positive and there is a ton of potential. It’s barely 4 months old and they’re building out the inside for more seating in the colder months. I think they could really do well if they utilize some local ingredients to step up their lunch game. There really is no room for in Cleveland anymore for Sysco food – especially with the national culinary attention we’ve been getting. I really do wish this café nothing but the best, but they can’t keep going down the same path they’re going down now.

Another Jekyll and Hyde coffee shop. It’s too bad, because Avon does not have any other independent coffee shops. The coffee is probably some of the best I’ve ever had in the US. I will definitely be back for a cuppa. However, the muffins were stale. The egg sandwich was good, but really small for the price.
