I had the Sai Shakti energy healing treatment with Mesha Moor. She is like an amazing vacuum, removing all the negative energy that I had absorbed through the experiences in my job. While I was Being treated, it didn’t feel like anything was happening and then I left and felt better and better and better as the next 24 hours progressed. I feel a thousand pounds lighter. She taught me a few techniques to try to periodically get rid of the negative energy that I may have absorbed, so I can help myself daily to cleanse rather than allowing it to build up to this degree. I don’t know what to say, she is truly a healer. What a gift. I feel so much better.

Had my first organized yoga experience here and it couldn’t be better! I’ve been taking the Yoga Nidra class and it’s amazing. The instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable and make EVERYONE feel welcome, no matter their skill level. They do a wonderful job of helping their students through each class. When I couldn’t do some of the poses, the instructor quickly offered bolster pillows and other tools to «bring the floor up to me» so that I could achieve the pose. I didn’t feel singled out or embarrassed by the attention.
The prices are affordable and seem to be very competitive with other studios. They also offer reiki and massage and I can’t wait to try those services also.

Melissa Jarufe is professional, conscientious, and precious. My first massage with her was the result of an online deal-​site three years ago, and it was my loss to have not gone back to her sooner. Until this afternoon, I *thought* that was the best massage of my life – I’ve had many over the last fifteen years, and she outdid them all this afternoon. Again.
I drove an hour to Melissa’s location in Avon from Auburn Township; it was worth every mile of time and every penny in gasoline. You will not be disappointed.
Melissa actually *reads* the intake forms that most masseurs skip over. We discussed what my goals were for the massage, and she asked questions and explained what she could do to make that even better. She gave me just the right amount of time to change and get «pre-​unwound.»
There was not a single muscle or ligament untouched by the time she was done. She actually STUDIES her craft, and knows the muscles of the body and will tell you about them as she works. Have a tight spot? She will stay there until it’s buttery. She gave me plenty of time to lay on the table and savor being thoroughly unkinked afterward.
Her skill and love for what she does result in a blissful gelatinous state that I can’t wait to repeat!

My one hour massage was excellent, Melissa really knows what she is doing! After working on my tight neck and shoulders she put a steamed cushion under my neck, massaged out all my kinks and finished with heated bamboo sticks, which were heavenly! I would highly recommend New Life Massage.

I have been seeing Melissa for only a short time. She is wonderful. I have issues with my shoulders and the massages that she does have really helped. I also have been going for the last 5 weeks to yoga on Sunday afternoon. It has been a great help and even my range of motion has gotten better with the stretches that we do.
