After reading the below review from client «Scott» I was compelled to share my complete opposite review!
I’ve been a patient of both Dr. Lapidus and Dr. Trockman since 2012. I have found them both to be professional, progressive and caring. I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to their office!

Dr Lapidus has helped me though numerous injuries, as well as life and mental challenges through the years. She is caring and thoughtful and very intelligent. She is thoroughly versed in western medicine but also understands naturalist therapies and techniques. She is the best and you would be lucky to get into her patient list.

Best doctor ever!!! :) NOT like your typical American doctor who treats you like you are the disease, doesn’t listen to you, and treats your every word with skepticism. It’s been years since I’ve met a doctor like Dr. Lapidus who actually cares and goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of. The last one I met was my father who passed away a few years ago. They don’t make me like this anymore. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lapidus is perhaps the best doctor I have ever had. She truly cares about each of her patients, and gets to know you as an individual. She is creative, and thinks outside of the box in her diagnosis and treatment. I have known her to go above and beyond. My husband also started going to her and she has been fabulous, attentive, and invested in creating a beautiful environment and providing stellar care. She is also very kind. Highly recommend.

I have been a grateful patient of Dr. Lapidus for almost 2 years. She listens!!! Under her care I have received the most thorough and extensive lab work in my entire life — (specialists in Sacramento where I used to live, ignored my symptoms and refused to do more than routine lab work). As a result of her care and concern for the «whole body», my health is flourishing and I feel like I am getting my life back. Dr. Lapidus makes me feel that we are in partnership together with my health care. I could go on and on but you get the picture — -she’s compassionate, caring and brilliant ! I have been SO pleased to be a patient of Dr. Lapidus. She is the ONLY doctor to take my medical concerns seriously. I saw several other doctors and received little to no care. I was frequently told, «you’re perfectly healthy.» Dr. Lapidus ordered extensive lab work and was able to quickly diagnose me with a condition that I had told other doctors I was sure I had. Since seeing her my condition has improved substantially. I am SO happy and grateful that I found her.
The new patient paperwork is definitely lengthy, but it asks very important questions. It is difficult to get an appointment with her. My next appointment is a month from now. But it is worth it. She is an integrative doctor so she frequently tries to offer a natural solution rather than getting right into prescribed medications. She is certainly a busy woman and is, at this time, not accepting new patients.

I have known Yelena for years. The negative comments on this site are product of persons wanting her services and not being able to garner them. She is busy and helping as many as she can. If you are lucky enough to have her attention you will be well off. If you want her help get in line, as she is very good. It’s worth the wait.

Before you judge me for posting a review without ever having met the doctor, let me tell you, I TRIED. Like several other reviews, I filled out the new patient paperwork and scheduled me for a new patient appointment. I had to wait 2.5 months and a week before my date, the office called and informed me that «the doctor would not be available to see me the coming week». I was then informed that they were scheduling TWO MONTHS in the future. Incredulous, I asked why I would not be rescheduled for a sooner date but the receptionist didn’t have an answer and did not attempt to explain. I took the next appointment but promptly found another doctor, who I saw 2 weeks later. However, I kept the appointment with Dr. Lapidus, just in case. HAHAHA, the joke was definitely on me. Just today, a week before the rescheduled appointment (which thankfully I didn’t need!), the office again called to say that the doc wouldn’t be seeing me and they needed to reschedule. By the way, I’m in my 30’s, have good insurance and am in good health. Clearly, there is some UNETHICAL initial procedure going on here because to fill out the lengthy new patient documents and then to cancel 2 appointments in 5 months with no explanation — talk about false hope that you will ever be seen! I want a female doctor but get a grip, that kind of treatment is NOT WORTH IT. Lastly, if a doctor isn’t really taking new patients and is too busy, have the courtesy to be honest.

I contacted this doctor in August, 2013 for some health concerns and strange symptoms I was experiencing. I completed a very lengthy new patient packet, after which time I was informed that since the Doctor was taking a long vacation in September, she would not be able to see me until she returned. The office manager referred me to another general practitioner, with whom I have been quite pleased. Since I also was looking for a gynecologist, the office manager said that she would contact me late September /​October to schedule an appointment once the Doctor returned from vacation. I finally got in touch with them recently, and the office manager (this time) informed me that my paperwork had been denied from the start and that the Doctor is not seeing any new patients. But that she could put me in the «pending» folder. No thanks, would have been nice to know months ago that she wasn’t taking new patients — period. Additionally, they were and still are advertising with Blue Shield that they are accepting new patients. If I’m being lied to about the status of my file, whether or not new patients are being accepted, and appointment scheduling — is this really a doctor I’d like to trust with medical matters.
Seems like buddy G is in the same boat with the same awful service I received recently (Sept 2013).
Take your health concerns elsewhere — this practice doesn’t seem to need the business or care!

Dr. Lapidus is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever been to, I am so thankful to have found her. I was diagnosed and started on a treatment plan she customized for me. Dr. Lapidus is very caring and understanding and her medical assistant Nancy is the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lapidus for several years. She is an exceptional doctor and always goes out of her way to make sure you get the best care. She does not only treat your symptoms, but finds what the real diagnosis is. She does not solely use traditional medicine and is very knowledgeable about supplements/​vitamins. I feel so much better after taking bio-​identical hormones to balance my system. Her staff is very caring and attentive, especially her nurse Nancy and receptionist Laura. They all make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

Never got a return call after completing the new patient packet/​novel, waited several MONTHS. Asked the front office several times if the doctor was taking new patients, couldn’t get a straight answer. Finally had to move on to someone else, what lousy customer service!
Forgetaboutit!

This doctor saved my life! She did tests none of the other doctors thought of and figured out what was wrong. She also specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement (which isn’t as expensive as one would think). She is easy to talk to and actually hears and understands what you are saying. She doesn’t give the brushoff. I have recommended her to all my friends.

I’ve been a patient for about 2 years and am very satisfied. She listens and takes time with you. Her staff is also good, which can make a big difference. You can usually get an appointment quickly. She is knowledgeable about supplements and alternatives.
