Great concept, super healthy and super delicious, I can definitely recommend this place, hopefully will find this concept in more places!

I walked in(the doors were still open and they were still making bowls) two mins after 5pm and instead of being told they were closed, I stood there waiting to order for about five minutes until the girls who were making bowls started singing«we’re closed we’re closed, why don’t people get that we are closed?!» Not too professional. I apologized and left. Yes, I understand they close at five, it just would have been nice if someone could have told me nicely that they were already closed for the day.

The wait is getting ridiculous. Like hire more people!!! Most of these places have like 8 staff members so they pump out the bowls in under 5 minutes. This shit place takes upwards of 30 minutes per order when it gets busy. And they only ever have like 3 people working!!! It’s a damn shame

Average acai bowl — my experience was tainted by them running out of frozen bananas(went on a Saturday early afternoon…) and getting my order wrong after having to wait over 30 minutes. Overall, good portion size and value but could improve on service

Kravabowl gets 2 stars for customer service and 5 for the product. Staff was much friendlier and fun when it was at the other smaller location, but customer service has been subpar every time we’ve visited the new location. These acai bowls are the best in the county and definitely worth the drive, but today a server spent ages on a personal phone call instead of taking our order. It was incredibly unprofessional and I was really surprised. Thanks for the great food, but I’m not super inclined to come back due to the staff.

The place is disgusting. I ordered the Islander and threw up afterward. I got hot and nauseous too. I should of called the health department. Super gross… oh and super rude people working there who spend more time talking to eachother than anything else.

Wish we had a location down here in orange county. The bowl was tasty, they had many different options and the service was great. The guy behind the counter was quick to help and loved to chat. We came in on a slow morning and talked to the guy the whole time. The area is also awesome. Grab a bowl and take it to the ocean for a wonderful view.

Absolutely delicious! Huge bowls with a great ratio of fruit, acai mix, granola, and more. We got ours and walked along the beach. The only con is the extremely long wait time – i’ve been told they cut the bananas very painstakingly.

My first acai bowl here! It did take too long, and I felt uncomfortable because it was so crowded and the place was tiny. The customer service isn’t that great… poker faces everywhere, but the acai was good because it didn’t melt so quickly. Oh yeah, and it was expensive.

I love acai bowls. The area around Avila beach has a great vibe — several small restaurants, cafes, shops, and even a basketball court by the water. Kravabowl fits perfectly in this scene, and is the perfect companion for a walk along the beach. The Islander’s Delight(acai, mango, pineapple, banana, orange juice) is an absolute winner, and like all of the acai bowls it comes with delicious granola and fresh cut fruits on top. It’s not the very best acai bowl I’ve had, but I’d definitely go back!

I’ve had acai bowls at a few different places, and this is by far my favorite. They use a variety of ingredients(e.g. fruits, goji berry, chia seeds, peanut butter, almond milk). All the fruit except for banana were frozen rather than fresh though, which I was not a big fan of. They also took reaaaaly long time to make our two bowls(at least 20 minutes), when there were about 5 staff members working. Overall, yummy acai bowls and would come back again so long as I have the time and patience to wait.

The is a great place to go for a light meal or big snack. I got the Kravabowl, and it was outstanding! I loved the granola and bee pollen, and the goji berriers were an especially unique topping. Additionally, the smoothie part was awesome, and I loved all the fresh fruit!

Yummy! My friend recommended this place to us glad she did. My husband and I split a large island bowl. It was huge and filling. I love coconut however my hubby does not. Not a problem they left his off. We enjoyed our bowl in the front patio with our dog and then headed to the nice local trail. Wish we had one in Livermore.

I really wanted to like kravabowl but am disappointed. These are the reasons for my disappointment: 1. Customer service was poor. There was no «hi! welcome to kravabowl… Do you have any questions… Can I help you…) there was silence and a «are you ready to order?» She just was very cold. 2. After ordering it took a long time to get my order. And there wasn’t a line out the door, there were 2 orders ahead of mine… 3. After finally getting my islander bowl i don’t think it tasted great. I mean… Maybe I’m an acai snob but it wasn’t the creamy texture or even the dark purple color I’m used to… It tasted more like a pineapple and apple juice smoothie than an acai bowl I’ve tried so many great acai places locally(neighborhood acai and backyard bowls in sb) that I’ve had a better experience at. And Sometimes I make my own at home but I would expect better when I pay for them. I would love to give kravabowl another try… Maybe next time will be better and I can change my review.

There are very few places that reach this level of food perfection. For a long time I had said that Jamba juice was one of my favorite foods, but after having a krava bowl, I see now that Jamba Juice is the McDonald’s of the smoothie world and Kravabowl is like unto The Burger Lounge. The bowls are awesome! When we were down at the Friday night farmer’s market we overheard them explaining what the bowls were to someone else. And they sounded so good that we had to go check it out. And we were so glad we did. The fruit flavors were very distinct and the granola and crunchy coconut paired perfectly. I just wish that I lived nearby and could get a bowl more often.

I ordered the Islander and was glad there was a restroom nearby. I got diarrhea, a hot spell, and felt like throwing up. My stomach hurt for hours after I ate it. It made me so sick. Pretty sure the fruit isn’t fresh, also, runny and disgusting. This place is totally overpriced and now that I know what all the hoopla is about, I won’t be going back. It seems like it’s one of those overpriced fad places. Their starting price on the smallest Acai bowl is $ 8.75. Are you kidding me!!! Then there’s the people that work there. The girl at the register takes my order then turns the screen toward me to allow me to TIP her a certain percentage. Do you really expect me to tip you for taking my order? Shame on the owner for coming up with such BS to try and make extra money off people, primarily vacationers who are may be feeling generous. Also, the people that work the aren’t nice. They’re just there. No hello, no smiles. Takes a long time to get your order. Give me a break. I hope Avila starts bringing in more places to eat because a lot less people would go here if there were other choices. But as of now, the choices are slim, and it drives in business. Go around the corner to the General Market. They make amazing fruit smoothies and are way cheaper and nicer to their customers, who most likely won’t feel the need to barf and diarrhea either like I did. I won’t be back.

Pretty good stuff. We had the Islanders Delight. Regular bowl was a decent size. Whole fruit was good and everything went well together. Took a while to come out though. Great product, but a knock for the time to make and another for the price.

Today, I went to try Kravabowl after hearing multiple good things about it. It’s located in an odd area. You have to look for it, but it’s only a small walk from the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about different sizes and specific items on the Acai bowl. The regular sized bowl is $ 8.75 and the large is $ 11.25. I ordered the regular sized Kravabowl. It was very filling, and the presentation is worthy of a snapchat post, and maybe even an Instagram post, with the right lighting and setting of course. However, I didn’t care for the goji berries, and I wish the consistency of the bowl was a little more thick. I definitely wouldn’t say this is the best Acai bowl I have had, but it is worth a try!

Love this place! Fantastic customer service. Whoever hired that kid with braces did a great job! I stopped by here after seeing how popular it was on the way to the beach. Ordered the popular islander bowl and found a long blonde hair in it. I brought it back to the counter and they were so nice about it I felt bad for even bringing it up! The owner/manager reassured me they were making a new one and on top of that offered me a voucher for a free one next time! Ridiculous!!! and the super nice kid making mine asked me what my favorite fruit was and said he would make sure to give me so much of it that I won’t even be able to see all the other fruit hidden under it. Love him! It was my first Acai bowl after hearing about it for years! These things are pricey at $ 8 for a regular size but they’re HUGE! I shared one with my bf and we were both stuffed. Loved the granola they used too. I can’t imagine how many people a large could fill up!!! Perfect location for a refreshing fruity and healthy bite!

I’ve been here a few times and my faves are the Kravabowl and Incredibowl. $ 8.75 for a small and over $ 9 for a large is kind of steep but I think of it as a meal. It’s filling and full of good stuff for your body. But this brings me to my next point — I’d probably stop in more if they offered a smaller size. The«small» is huge and like I said, more like a meal. Many times I can’t finish it. But sometimes I just want a snack. I’d love it if they offered a «snack» size bowl. Nonetheless, a great addition to Avila!
