This is an amazing place. The coffee is freshly roasted everyday onsite. Good place to relax and visit with the locals. In the winter you can warm up by sipping your coffee next to the fireplace. Lot’s of good desert’s too. Luv it! M

Fred is fun to talk to, the coffee is delicious, the space is cozy and it’s tucked away like a surprise. Fire is always on during the colder months, and everyone you meet is very interesting and nice. I love this place.

This review is for fan #105 Freddie bought the Stephentown Community Center at auction probably about 5 years ago. It still serves as the community center, but now under the guise of a coffee shop. You can tinker around inside for hours, sans laptop, with the interesting furniture, antiques, magazines, books, games, couches, tables, and a few things under construction. Engineers will appreciate his place because you can see his huge coffee bean machines in the place. There are also other big, older contraptions as well that function only for display. The house holds fundraising concerts at the stage and still has lots of space for something to be named later. His coffee is top notch too. I’m not a coffee drinker at all, but I can tell when a man turns it into a craft. He’s been doing it for about 30 years total, and has created these blends that are heralded by plenty of people trying to keep it a secret. I’m not. Try the baked goods too.
