LK Nail Spa

Went to this nail spa about a month ago super last minute before I had to go to a wedding. I was grateful they took me right away but the job was so rushed and sloppy they should’ve just turned me away. There was polish all over the skin on my toes. I hesitated to say anything because it was so bad I thought surely she’s going to use the brush to clean them up and then they’ll be perfect. Nope. When I asked her to fix it she look perplexed and did very little to fix it. I also got a polish change on my hands and the lady that polished kept telling me the color I picked (a nude light pink – think ballet slippers) was all wrong for my skin tone. That I was too dark for that color. Excuse me?! Meanwhile she’s prob 1 shade lighter than I am, but regardless that should not ever be said to anyone. I won’t ever go back no matter how desperate.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! I don’t even know where to begin with how terrible this place is. First, I sit down and the tech starts doing my nails and a roach walks up the wall behind her. Then I saw the guy who works there I think he’s the owner ordering used nail polish off of eBay! I watched this same guy get into an argument with a lady because she called him out for being an asshole to her which he was absolutely being. I watched this same guys lie to two people saying they got the wrong appointment time and that he had appointments coming in so he didn’t have time for them but I was in there for over an hour and he never worked on anyone. Then to make everything better the price they charged was more than what their flyer and the women told me. Lastly, my nails looks like garbage! I have blood under one of my acrylics from her gouging at my skin. And I promise you I don’t think I’ve ever written a review about a place but I found this place to be so dirty, terrible quality, and just mean staff that I had to write this. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me!

I would not recommend this place to anyone they add on extra cost at the end without telling you what they are doing which unethical there is nothing on there price sheet either so they think there customers won’t notice the extra fees and I was the third customer in the salon to complain the guy Victor doesn’t care at all and he still charges you I would recommend finding another nail salon… don’t go here!!!

Is now called KL Nail Spa & is no longer owned by Johnny but everyone else besides «Sweet T» is still there. The two new owners have remodeled the inside with 2 new flat screens & 2 new pedicure options that turn to a gel like substance (lavender & aloe) that both smell amazing & make the feet so smooth. All tools are freshly opened & everyone is a professional at their trade. I won’t go anywhere else! Charlie ALWAYS does my feet but everyone is amazing! They have all that is new in nail technology including gel polish that will last through just about any activity, powder & liquid gel (which I have & recommend) & the good old fashion acrylic. You will ALWAYS have an amazing experience!

Worst customer service ever. Walked in at 6:42pm. The doorways they close at 7:30pm the nail technician (Charlie) lies in my face and say they close at 7pm. Then I mention the door he says, «I meant to say 7:30pmm but we have to clean.» There are 6 slackened employees sitting around looking extremely drugged or bored. That was such an unpleasant experience I will be going by there this week to have a few words with the owner. I will not rest until I get in contact with the owner. As for Charlie the Asian male nail technician. You sir are in the customer service industry I did not choose your career if your not satisfied find another career & do not judge ppl it’s disgusting.

It’s such a pity that Johnny sold out to some S.O.B with a complete lack of customer service. Mom and I both have been coming here to get nails done every two weeks for almost 2 years. Sad to say we will never ever go back.
I called in and asked if Leon has time for a mani pedi and someone else for a separate regular mani. Said we could come in right away. 15 minutes later we show up and the new guy says oh Leon doesn’t have any time today and we only have one mani spot open. I asked him repeatedly why he made me rush over here if you couldn’t take us. He shrugged and said so what.
I grabbed my mom and said out loud that we will never come back and you’ve lost 2 very good and loyal customers
. To which he said… In front of the whole store… That he doesn’t care. I restated «you don’t care if you loose customers? No, I don’t care» was his response. Everyone in the salon was shocked.
Over his head I thanked Leon for being wonderful but that this salon has just lost loyal customers and we will never return. Every single person in the shop looked up in dismay at the new owner’s idea of customer service. To tell a customer you don’t care if you loose their business is absurd when you work in a service industry!!!
Off to find another nail spa in Hallandale /​Aventura where they don’t treat their customers like garbage.

Larry gave me a mani pedi here at Johnny’s nail spa and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. He was very friendly and also very clean. The whole salon in general is a very fun, clean, friendly, and comforting environment. The new flat screen tvs and jelly pedis are amazing also. This salon is definitely my go to place for nails.
