If you ever get Carly Guvanie to do your hair RUNAWAY! worst hair stylist i ever dealt with. She is rude and didnt listen to what i wanted. She ended up messing up my hair by cutting one side shorter than the other one. When she noticed instead of trying to fix it she just laugh. NEVERGOINGBACK!

I won a $ 250 for«any hair service» gift(Signed personally by one of the owners) card at a formal gala through an auction. The card was set to expire within a year from the issued date. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was 5 days shy of the expiration date when setting an appointment making sure to explain that I did not want to risk the certificate expiring. The woman on the phone was pleasant and checked with the owner prior to scheduling my appointment. She confirmed there would be no issues and went ahead and gave me a Saturday appointment for a keratin treatment and a haircut. I completely re-arranged my schedule to accommodate for a Saturday since due to my work schedule, I could not get to the salon early enough on a weekday to make an appointment with any of their stylists. None of them were willing to stay late to accommodate. When I finally arrived that Saturday for my appointment the story quickly changed. The certificate all of a sudden did not«cover» keratin treatments. The owner took one look at my full head of thick and curly hair and completely dismissed me and told me to come back another day because Saturday’s were to «busy». One stylist who was available came to meet with me and was excited to work with me but the owner vetoed her attempts immediately. Not only did I have my small niece with me who was excited to possibly get something done for herself(It was a $ 250 gift card after all!) But I was basically turned away because the owner did not want to HONOR the gift card which he PERSONALLY signed and offered at the auction. I have been mistreated before but this was just unacceptable. The $ 250 certificate ended up being ripped up and put in the trash by me. My niece was even upset and picked up on the awkward energy that followed having walked out with our tails between our legs so to speak from being turned away. I wouldn’t take their poor customer service and approach for all the free money in the world. I will NOT be referring this salon to anyone simply based on this very uncomfortable experience. It is obvious due to the amount of clients on that Saturday that they are not interested in fostering new relationships. The owner obviously had no intention of honoring the certificate and wasted my ENTIRESATURDAYMORNING by not being a stand up business. Shameful customer service. Surprised any business can getaway with tactics like these and still be in business.

This review is for ROBERT. I had my roots colored by Robert. It was the best color jobs I’ve ever had in the USA. I dye my hair blonde and so many hairdressers turn my hair orange. Robert just knew exactly what he was doing. He is a perfectionist at his work like a hair artist. He was also extremely warm and genuine. I left the salon feeling so happy.

I’ve been there a few time ago and I was truly disappointed by my experience down there. First it was really expensive and plus, the stylist did not even listen to me about how I wanted to get my hair done. He only did what HEWANTED to do. He spent hours talking about how good he was and blablabla. But I have not been satisfied by the service at all. I wanted a color kind of caramel and I ended getting something blond like a barbie — which HE thought was beautiful. But I did not pay to get what the stylist liked/wanted. Of course I can take advice but I am the only one making the final decision about my hair. So I totally disagree with those kind of practices and I definitely DONOTRECOMMEND this salon.

I went in couple of times but was discouraged by strong odor of chemicals(color, bleach, nail polish remover, etc). One day I went in for underarm wax. It’s $ 20 there, but Mali offered to do it for $ 15.(Usually I pay $ 10-$ 12 for it). She was not wearing a uniform but very dressy with heels almost 10″ high, I had to confirm she is the employee of the salon. First, I asked if they have hard wax because I prefer hard wax for my underarms, and she confirmed that they have. I said that this is my preference and I would like hard wax to be used. However, Mali used soft wax on me… !!! When I reminded her about hard wax, she started to argue with me, and tell me how soft wax is better, that she has many years of experience, etc. I have been working in a salon before, so I know what types of waxes there are, and what’s better for my skin, still — she argued a lot!(It’s unacceptable that employee argues with customer like that). When I asked to use hard wax for my 2nd underarm, she refused. I was dissapointed. At the end she dropped soft wax on my dress, then she splashed it with oil afterwards(trying to clean out the wax). It did not wash out(she was arguing that it will come out) and I had to go back. Thankfully the manager was very nice and offered to dry clean it. I think this salon could do better if: — Their employees were wearing uniforms, beeing more polite & listen to customers, — Salon would have pleasant clean scent, rooms tidy(Mali’s waxing room was messy).

Envogue is fabulous, modern and stylish. I am very pleased with the service I always receive, starting with the front desk to the ladies that wash your hair to my awesome stylists Simon & Matan. I just love this brother duo, they are warm, friendly and truly talented at their calling. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences so be sure to give them a try and definitely ask for Simon!

I have now had three haircuts from three different stylists at EnVogue. You would think that one out of three people here would have listened to my hairstyle request. Attempt 1: Armani-He almost got it right… except for the mullet he left me with. He actually did a good job on the top and sides. He was so close that I decided to give the salon another chance. He sounded like he had a good vision and gave great suggestions. I thought that perhaps there may have been a miscommunication on my part. Attempt 2: Unknown woman stylist-She did an ok job, but left my hair too long in the front. I asked her to shorten it a bit and it appeared to be fine when I left. After I got home I realized it was still too long. I was never able to style my hair the way I requested it to be cut. I expect a perfect cut if I am going to be charged $ 45 after being told that it was $ 35 on the phone. Attempt 3(final attempt): Simon-he may be a good hairstylist for women, but not so much for men. I asked for a specific style that I would be able to do for upcoming interviews. After he made the first cut, I knew it was over. He cut so much off the top right away that there was no point in asking him to stop because I knew he would have to keep cutting to make everything even. I have never paid $ 35 for a haircut that I have gotten for $ 12, until now(I haven’t received a $ 12 haircut since I was 16). After commenting that I don’t like the sides too short… during the haircut he pulled out a razor and gave me the equivalent of an army cut. After giving them so many attempts, I have resolved that the stylists at this salon think they know best and do whatever they want to do, rather than listening to your specific requests. If you are a male and decide to give this salon a try, despite my review, I would recommend Armani. Just keep an eye on the back and you should be fine. Side note: My friend also went there and got a bad cut from Armani. His was too short.

I bought a couptessa coupon for En Vogue salon. Fathers day special, and it read: «En Vogue Salon and Spa has options for both you girls AND your Dads so you can spend the day together while getting a nice dose of glamour too!» I made a reservation under my name(obviously a female), mentioning the coupon. Same thing, the receptionist told me it was only for men and that they could do nothing to help me. She was super arrogant(started her monologue to me with: «Oh honey, you should read…» !!!), blaming the whole situation on me(the customer), although I told her that nowhere it said that the coupon was for men only. and also whats the difference now? I am here now, you have scheduled me, you should try to work it out, or at least be friendly. But there was not even an attempt to work the situation out. This left a bitter taste for that whole day. Now I really know what to do with the coupon, since I don’t even want to send my husband to this salon… supporting that kind of customer service.

I can walk to this salon from my house so my girlfriend decided to try it. Nelson was her colorist and stylist and she was very happy with him, I decided to try him out as well. My hair was down to my waist and I wanted to go short. He did a pretty good job, almost exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere there is nice, it’s vast and looks quite expensive… and it is. Overpriced in my opinion, $ 75 for a cut. If it was less $ I’d consider going there more often, but shelling out that much for a cut hurts.
