During all the pre-Black Friday hype Denny‘s had their grand opening
I was excited for a new children‘s clothing store(yet sad at the loss of the wine shop whose place it was taking) but at the time there was too much going on to investigate. When they had the grand opening I invisioned the Charming Charlie’s children’s section all glittery, sparkly, and exciting… I was sadly disappointmented. If this was a dollar store, my review would read quite differently. There are no fantastic window displays to oogle over pretty pink tutus for a little princess. Their layette section is sparse. The lights are very bright. I think the flooring is from when it was a liquor store and just makes it feel like a Ross. Everything is put away neatly and organized, but how everything is placed it just doesn’t seem that way. When you walk in, nobody greets you. No one will ask you if you need assistance, and when you leave… well just don‘t let the door hit you on the way out. The prices were confusing. On some items the price was slashed but there wasn’t a sign that indicated any discount or another price indicated. There are a few fun novelty items. For Aventura it lacks the type of presentation expected for a high end children’s store.
