This is as close to a D-list scary movie set as you’ll ever get. I arrived here one Halloween, hours before a party to get a little tipsy and fix up the costume, and I should have known from its exterior how it was going to look on the inside. Completely scary. Exposed wires, chipped paint, bolted down everything… not the cozy escape you’d expect from a motel on Route 1.(of course, I’m being sarcastic, but even then, yikes) But, it did the job. The shower, albeit a little small, was warm and cleaned me off properly. The basic needs were provided, and the room itself was warm. I don’t recall how much it was, but I want to say less than or about 50 bucks. I ended up crashing here after the shindig, and I felt okay about it. I didn’t feel too unsafe, and the other people patronizing the motel were relatively quiet. I wouldn’t stay here again, unless I was completely SOL, but it wasn’t the worst experience ever.
