Not much. Few yards from dock. Few fish. Waste of time and money. Couldn’t hear captain. Nothing to see

Took my five year old godson and we both had a great time! The boat was nice as was the crew and we saw TONS of fish; garabaldi, halibut, seabass, rockfish, etc. Make sure that you buy the fish food, I would say one package per person in your group. This makes the fish more active and it is fun to feed them especially for kids.

It was a lot of fun. The guide was very knowledgeable. Lots of great information. I love when the captain throw in the fish food. Thousands of fish come around. Very Cool.

This is my second time on this excursion… First time, it is because it was cheap. Second time, it is because my mom was scared of the submarine. It was ok… 45 mins of boredom. The tour guide mumble and we did not understand a word he said. We did not buy fish food the first time round, we saw 3 fishes… I bought fish food the second time around and saw a ton of fishes… $ 5 dollars for 2 tubes(1 package) or $ 10 dollars for 6 tubes(3 packages).

I went on the«Glass Bottom Boat» tour since it was noted to be the #1 excursion in Catalina according to Carnival Cruises. What a lie! It was almost $ 20 dollars for this excursion that lasted maybe 45 minutes at the most. It is basically just a boat with a see through panel on the bottom. Kind of like a fish tank on the bottom of a boat. Our«glass» bottom was extremely dirty with a lot of condensation which made the viewing even worse. They take you to Lover’s Cove and some other«fish sanctuaries» to view the different species of fish but on our trip we only saw 3! What a rip off. And, they encourage you to buy fish food for another $ 5 dollars. I don’t know about you, but I would rather pay a few dollars more and go to an actual aquarium where I can see more than just 3 species of fish. I am giving it 2 stars, only because the«tour guide» was quite knowledgeable about the 3 species that we saw and had some good info. Oh, and beware of sea sickness. One lady on our boat looked like she was on the verge of hurling the whole time. I
