Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ashtabula-Geneva

Not a bad place… The bed was comfortable, breakfast was great and the upgraded our room for free! Welcoming staff. The atmosphere outside the hotel was in the best. That’s not the worst either.
We did like it is close to all the wineries! «M Winery» was the best if your really into wines.

We had an absolutely terrible experience with this hotel. When we showed up they said they were booking us into a smoking room. What hotel still allows smoking rooms? We have three kids and they didnt understand you cant keep kids in a room filled with 2^nd hand smoke. So instead they put us into room 118! This room shares a wall with the elevator. It literally sounded like we were staying inside the elevator bank and our kids were kept up all night. Management refused to move us into another room.
When Orbitz called to try and make this right, the hotel refused. When I just called myself someone named Devon answered the phone. When I asked to speak with the manager Devon sent me to his voicemail trying to avoid the situation.
AVOID this awful hotel with awful service at all costs!

I came from california and visited ohio for one day school. I stayed in this hotel. Once you come in, the nice scented lobby will welcome you. Also the front desk with brown or blond hair in swing shift was very nice, very pleasant. After long flight it is so nice to see a front desk pady smiling at you. The room we stayed at were very clean, though jacuzzi is out of order but I dont mind because I will not use it anyways. The cable tv is hd which is awesooome. theres microwave which I always look fro in a hotel, a simple. coffeemaker, a mini kitchen… clean bedroom. Tina, the housekeeper is also nice. Ilove staying in this hotel. Being outdoor woth only few places to see, having a hotel with a heated pool which my son reallly love is worth a penny… and oh the free breakfast too is good. its bacon egg and biscuit, coffee, juice were all good! I highly recommend this hotel, holiday inn hotel in ashtabula ohio.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in went well and the room is comfortable and clean.
The folks at the front desk were smiling and pleasant and made us feel welcome. I really feel good about staying act this Holiday Inn Express.

We were immedately greeted in a very clean and beautiful lobby. It smelled great, and looked very chic. Our room had super comfy beds with outstanding linens and pillows, hdtv, and beautiful décor. The bathroom was large with a nice bowed shower rod, and the towels were some of the softest and best smelling I’ve ever had.
Let me also say that I managed four Hyatt Regency hotels in my career, and I would put the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ashtabula-​Geneva up against any of them.
Free wifi and free hot breakfast combined with a pool and hot tub make it the place to stay when you’re in the area.

This is what I expect when I stay at a Holiday Inn Express!
The pool was actually WARM!!! Huge plus!
Breakfast good as usual! Staff Friendly. They gave out Gold Member welcome pack — which makes my kiddo happy and is a nice touch.
The beds were GREAT! (which is why I choose Holiday inn Express over all others!)
Cleaning Staff was very accomodating when we slept very late.
We’ve done hotwire before and got the sleep inn next door everytime and this hotel is well worth the extra money!!!
Super convienent to highway I-​90.
Will stay here from now on!
Two negative things: Had lots of trouble with our key. And the Wi-​Fi kept going in and out if you weren’t at the desk in a certain spot. But neither is worth me not staying here again on our next visit.
