I eat here about 3 – 4 times a week and can’t get enough. The«Rising Sun» burrito will change your life and I would recommend this place to anyone who likes unique, Asian Fusion style food.

It was an okay experience. I had two fish tacos on corn. Honestly, not exactly confident that the fish was completely cooked, but the taco itself was tasty. The sauces are the best part of the experience. Atmosphere was pretty poor. Kinda seemed dirty. However, I really enjoyed the spicy fries. Worth trying, but I don’t think I’d necessarily go back for round 2.

We stopped by here to check out the breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos are cheap but ok. The real start here is the Kim-chi Fries. Sooo good. Also I love their Vietnamese coffee that was served iced. And I didn’t realize they had bubble tea. Can’t wait to go back and grab a bubble tea without having to drive far from home.

Full disclosure, I was had pulled into the parking lot of Yummi having settled on Subway(I know), but I looked to my left before turning off my car and noticed this taco place. Intrigued, I went inside and knew that I had made a good decision! The man who took my order was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and willing to explain anything I wanted. I asked a couple questions then ordered two Banh Mi’s, one with spicy pork and the other with bulgogi. Within a reasonable amount of time my order was brought out to me and I was off. Coming from southwest Houston has given me a good idea of what proper Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean food is supposed to taste like. When the man at the counter explained that they used bolillosinstead of baguettes, I was skeptical, but this was fantastic! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients tasted wonderful and reminded me of the Lee’s back home. I will be coming back.

Wow. Admittedly, I was a little skeptical of this place with its«eclectic» menu, but everything we had was delicious! I ordered beef tacos, egg rolls, banh mi, and the chicken curry. All great. I had to force myself to stop eating so others could have some. Will definitely be going back to try the other items. Everything was so reasonably priced and the service was good! A+!

Awesome bulgogi and kimchee over french fries with spicy mayo. I loved every calorie.(Lotta love there.) Friend had the curry special, which was $ 5. Yes it was, in Austin, 2015, a $ 5 lunch special that was more than enough food. Divey atmosphere, too big menu, hard to understand lady taking and calling out orders. NONEOFTHATMATTERS. Food was exceptional. Go eat.

Yummi Taco is my favorite. They provide great service, it’s fast, seriously delicious, and with a low price– what else can you ask for? I recently moved to a new city and I REALLYMISSIT:( Top 3 menu items: 1. Big Tex Yo-ritto. I almost always order it. 2. Beef bulgogi burger combo. 3. Chicken Curry Soup(only $ 5!!). Pro-tip: order it to-go and eat for lunch or dinner tomorrow Everyone that works there is very nice and friendly. I have been here sooooo many times with only 2 not-so-great experiences. In one instance I got the wrong order(and was already home… bummer). Another time I called my order in, the cashier said it would take 5 min. When I arrived 5 minutes later I waited at least 20 minutes(the owner was not there that day and they were busy). I’d call in all the time though and never have to wait. Sometimes their lunch rush can get a little crazy– it’s a small place. But only 2x in all those experiences is good in my book… Nobody’s perfect!

I’m giving this spot a 3.5. I found this on a whim after happening to be in the area around lunch time. I saw great Unilocal reviews so I figure why not. It’s a cozy spot meaning when you walk inside you really don’t expect much, but hope for good food. Service was good, I was greeted and explained menu items. I was in the mood for a burger so I went with the beef bulgogi burger and spicy fries with a drink included. My Neal took less than 10 minutes my fries was crispy and we’ll seasoned. They are about a small size at your typical spot. The Burger was okay honestly nothing to write home about or go out of your way but good in flavor, slightly above average. I would probably return if I was in the area to try the tacos.

A friend at work suggested I check this out after I mentioned going to Caspian grill(which is next door) and said I would love it. I left work early and headed over around lunch time. The shopping center was packed, allow time to park, and find parking. The shop was small, but was able to order to go quick. Ordered a bahn mi(spicy pork), spring rolls, and a big tex yo-ritto. The bahn mi pork was so spicy! Had great flavor, was it was too much. The spring rolls tasted so fresh. I loved the cucumber that was put in and the peanut sauce for dipping is excellent, but a little sweet. The burrito was nothing i have ever tasted. Rice, french fries, bulgogi, lettuce, some sort of sauce all in a burrito. It was a amazing and a party in my mouth! Well worth the 5 $ or so I spent on it. The next day I came back and tried the bulgogi bahn mi. Excellent flavor and I could actually taste everything to the carrots and cilantro, to the fresh jalapenos that were in there. Awesome food and quick service

Like another reviewer said, I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. I came here with my roommate one night since we live relatively close to the area and wanted to give this place a try. I got the bulgogi burger which was actually pretty good. The bun was sweet and each bite was delicious. They also have some homemade sauces that you can use on the side and I don’t remember all the names but I tried this creamy one and it tasted great with the burger. My roommate got the 2 bahn mi deal and I had a bite and it was a pretty good bite as well. She liked her meal. I have yet to try the kimchi fries, so maybe that will knock my review up the next time I go. Another reason why I bumped some points off is that this place closes at 8, so if you’re a semi late eater like me, you’ll be out of luck!

First time coming here! I tried their Big Tex Yo-Ritto burrito — beef bulgogi, veggies, fries and white rice with I believe spicy mayo with a flour tortilla! This was very flavorful! The only downside was that some of the rice was overcooked so there was hardened chewy chunks in a section of my burrito. Otherwise it was really tasty! I would still come here and try something else! The woman who took our order was very friendly and professional! Nice small restaurant!

Decided to get breakfast tacos today for my BIL for his birthday. Great little place, the lady running the front was real nice. Everyone thought the tacos were so good and fresh. Glad I found this hidden gem off of Oak Knoll. Will be back to try the other things on their menu like Kim chi fries. Highly recommended!

Fresh ingredients and a wide variety of choices. But not too many choices. We had beef, breakfast, and Greek tacos. Different flavors and all of them great. And they serve that Mexican cola that I like so much. Wet shall return!

I would give them 3.5 if possible. I had never heard of this place but found them in the entertainment book. I was super excited to try this place. It seemed like something right up my alley. Great prices and unique fusion food. Maybe I got myself a little over excited because I was a little bummed. The food was good, it just wasn’t great. The lady that took our order started out friendly until we told her we had a discount. We ordered the egg rolls, kimchi fries and burrito with beef bulgogi. The serving sizes are definitely a little small. Not horrible but not very filling. The egg rolls are tiny but I was expecting that based on the price. My picky two year old ate them up, so that made me happy. I had one as well. Crispy on the outside and a little soggy on the inside. The burrito was a little dry and bland. My husband asked for some spicy mayo and he said it really improved. Unfortunately I had already finished my half. The kimchi fries were okay. They needed more of the spicy mayo sauce. Obviously we like the spicy mayo! I actually want to go back and try this place again. Next time I’m going to try a burger!

Nice, affordable neighborhood restaurant. The migas taco was good. The chicken taco on double corn tortilla was good. The beef taco on double corn tortilla was good. I’ll be back :)

Cheap(under $ 9), fast, tasty, near the office, not too terrible for my health. Yep, Yummi Tacos meets all my basic requirements for a no frills weekday lunch. But wait, there’s more! — Delicious homemade sauces of the creamy, tangy, and caliente varieties. — Vegetarians & meatheads alike can enjoy the flavor explosion that is the Spicy Eggplant here. Get it as a taco, burrito, bahn mi, burger or bowl. I like to order it as taco on corn tortillas for a lo cal, lo guilt meal. — Korean BBQ pork, yum! This is my go-to banh mi filling here. How is this sandwich only $ 3.99?! — Beef bulgogi, lemongrass chicken, or garlic fish — yum! — Daily specials for items not listed on the regular menu, like Thai-inspired curries. — Boba teas, Vietnamese coffee, kimchi fries, & breakfast stuff(3 tacos for $ 3.99 before 11a), too, if you’re into that. For the cheapest lunch(including a drink) in the area, go for the $ 5 daily special: Mon — Kimchi Fries Tue — Greek Taco plus 4 Shrimp Rolls Wed — 3 Tacos Thu — Burrito Fri — Banh Mi plus 3 Eggrolls In a hurry? Call in your order and you’ll be in & out in a snap. Another smart reviewer compares Yummi to a couple of our great fusion taco trucks roaming around town, and I’d say that’s a fair comparison, except this one is a brick & mortar in business for several years 6 days/week on the northside of town. Your wait will be short, you’ll be out of the elements while you’re there, and your bill will be low. You can find Yummi at the southwest corner of Research & Oak Knoll, same center as the Subway and oddly named«Convenient» store. Beware of the tight parking situation.

I still stand by my review from last year as that was definitely the experience I had and I did not think it was likely I would return. However, I gave them another try recently for no other reason than starvation and proximity. I’m glad I did. This time I got their kimchi fries with beef and a chicken taco. The taco was eh, but the kimchi fries are where it’s at. I was surprised by how good they were. There was a generous portion of beef, in fact it had the perfect balance of all the ingredients. Nothing was skimped on and the flavors were on point too. Their kimchi fries give Chilantro’s a run for their money. The woman behind the counter, who I think is the owner, was really really nice too. While my first experience was horrible and I can’t say the taco I had this time was any better than two stars, I can now say I will return and it will be for their kimchi fries.
