This use to be my husband and I’s most favorite pizza joint in South Austin until the last few months… Anytime you walk in the staff members«homies» are chillin behind the counter, the place reaks of marijuana and lately our pizza has tasted different and has been wayyyy more greasy. Hoping the owner or management can turn things around and make this place more professional and kick out the dirty workers and their home boys.

Rude customer service. Pizza was OK. Skims on toppings for what you pay. I had a good experience once but was heavily downed the next time.

In the last fifteen years, I’ve had the sorrow to be served about sixty-three really terrible pizzas. Two of them came from here. In that same time, I’ve had the pleasure of eating maybe eighteen times that many truly awesome pizzas. Almost all of which came from here. If you’ve never worked in the restaurant world, you’re likely unaware of how little of the food you eat out is actually prepared in the restaurant where you order it. Places at the Yaghi’s price point almost always use highly processed ingredients made in some industrial factory far away and delivered in a can or bag. Yaghi’s does not do that. This is almost literally mind-blowingly remarkable. Aside from the cheese, everything you eat at Yaghi’s was made at Yaghi’s, fresh and from scratch. And it’s possible, now that I think about it, that maybe they even make their own cheese there too. Why not. They are magic and deserve big respect for what they do. When you eat at Yaghi’s, you are eating real food that someone worked hard to make tasty, fresh, and delicious just for you. My son and I stop here on the way home from taekwondo about once a week. I get a large specialty pizza – maybe the margherita with those sweet roasted cherry tomatoes, or the Mediterranean(with a polite request not to go too nuts on the black olives), or the Gyro with red sauce, double meat, and extra tsatsiki, or the lasagna with fresh ricotta and homemade meatballs. Most restaurants that advertise homemade meatballs are heartbreaking liars. Yaghi’s doesn’t make any claims at all – they just make great meatballs. Along with my large specialty pizza we get the«family special,» a medium cheese for $ 3, to which we add pepperoni and green olives and which I have never been permitted to try, as it belongs to my son who’s not afraid to use his martial arts skills at the table. That’s a plentiful dinner for under $ 30, enough pizza to get us two through a couple days at least. Pretty sweet. If great pizza is not enough – or, more likely in my case, you’ve had too much great pizza in the last couple days for it to sound so great today – Yaghi’s offers relief in gyro form. A fresh, moist, hot pita piled with good meat and fresh veggies and a special-recipe spicy housemade tsatsiki I could eat with a spoon. If they had spoons. Verts Kebap cannot touch this gyro. You are quite frankly a fool to go to Verts Kebap more than once with an actual gyro this good so nearby. At lunch, you can get a couple slices or a gyro with drink for some ridiculous sum, like $ 5 and change. You can sit and read the Chronicle and get your head together for your trip to HEB. Or you can go home, chill, and when it’s time to eat again just head back to Yaghi’s.

Best pizza in bee cave lakeway. Delivers quick and hot. Coming from mass can’t find good thin pizza. So far this is by far the best. There always friendly and always on time

Not worth the money. When we showed up to get the lunch special, not only was there only two slices of old, different pizzas left, they also did not honor their lunch special, claiming it ended already. However, the southwest Austin location at William Cannon honors lunch specials until 4:30pm. I won’t be coming back here.

We ordered our pizza 2 hours ago(and they promise within 60 minutes). I called an hour and a half in, and Nick said that the deliverer had already left. I called back again at 2 hours, and Nick said the deliverer left 15 minutes ago. You do the math. Nick said that he read the wrong ticket, I lean towards him simply lying to me in the first place. Anyways, 2 hours later, still no pizza.

I walked in for a «Pizza by the slice» on a Saturday evening at 645pm, which should be the height of the dinner demand, and found they had 1 slice of old Pesto pizza with no more forthcoming. So I can’t rate their pizza, but their preparations for walk in traffic are lacking.

As a lifelong fan of Yaghi’s, I never plan on returning. I walked in to pick up my called in order and needed to pay one portion of the check with cash and the rest with a card. The cashier told me that I couldn’t do that, so I accepted the fact and let him know that I wouldn’t be able to afford the pizza. The cashier proceeded to make a scene of my situation by yelling in front of several other employees«Why would you place an order if you don’t have a method of payment!?» 1. That was extremely embarrassing. 2. I had a method of payment, however, you did not accept it. Then, he insulted my boyfriends hat and none of the other(at least five) employees did anything other than stare at us. I was speechless, I have never in my life experienced such bizarre and rude customer service as this. I will never go back.

Delivered on time, great selection, great toppings, and who doesn’t love large New York style pizza slices? Yum! Don’t miss!

When they get your pizza right its good. This happened three times in a row. We then asked to speak with a manager; he started out nice and offered us a replacement pizza, but they got that one wrong too. When we called back to let them know he asked that we go elsewhere. In short, the management is horrible, the pizza is ok but the staff at the counter are nice.

I placed an order for delivery. My order confirmation stated i would receive my order in 60 minutes. This was incorrect. My order was 40 minutes late. So by this point, it was lukewarm.

After ordering a pizza for pick up being told they told us that they sent our pizza to someone else my sister and I waited 45 minutes while they dealt with 2 other messed up order’s. We arrived home 1 hour later to find that they had not given us the right pizza again. Tonight we made the unfortunate decision to try them again. This time we ordered delivery. Once again we opened the box to find the pizza to be the wrong one again. Phone calls were made to speak with a manager who was unavailable. The owner was called and made it quite clear that it didn’t matter that this has happened twice. When asked what they could do to make this right we asked for 2 free pizzas next time. This offer was thrown in our faces. Needless to say dine here at your own risk and don’t expect the owner to care if there are discrepancies.

If you like thin crust– you will like this place. Cheese has good flavor, sauce is tasty, and toppings are fresh.

I work across the street and hadn’t been here in several years because the employees were rude and the pizza was not the greatest. But a few weeks ago I was craving pizza, needed a good deal and needed it quickly. I popped in and was pleasantly surprised. All of the employees were very nice and talkative while waiting for my pizza. The new manager Jacob was also very sweet and made sure my visit was absolutely perfect. I will not lie, my boyfriend and I have had their pizza for lunch now at least 5 or 6 times in the last couple of weeks, not including coworkers who also pick up food from them. The food is always hot and crispy, the service is great, and the restaurant is very clean. They have really turned their business around, I hope to see the new manager here for a while. He is fantastic and has the shop looking and feeling great! Thanks guys!

How long have I been missing this place? I got a Feta pizza and a «The Works» and hot wings and they were all phenomenal(says all five of us)! The wings were large and meaty and not sloppy like some places! Not too spicy so go hotter if you’re a fan of lip burning. The Feta pizza had just the right amount of garlic and tons of feta. The works was just that! I am picky about sauce but there’s was gretat. Not too salty and not too much of it. Also LOTS of mozzarella on top. I will definitely be going here again and maybe I’ll be quick enough to get a few photos before it’s all gone :-)

Curious as to the definition of 3 stars? Stop by Yaghi’s! Never great, never bad. Service always OK — good standby when you don’t know what else to do for dinner.

Still amazing! Ask about the specials. The delivery guys are always nice young lads. Their delivery range is pretty dang far! Takeout is always great, too! The best part is it keeps really well as leftovers!
