Not really sure what to say. We were unable to physically look at the gravel we wanted so we went by the picture they supplied on their site and it doesn’t even look close. It does say in the description «gravel comes in an orange tint «…well not really shown in the picture, but what I got is really orange/​red… not close to a «tint»
I call them back and try to describe to the person on the phone that they must have the wrong picture on their site for Santa Fe Gravel and he said to bring in a sample of what was dropped off so they can match it to what they have in the yard… Hello!.. it will match what you have in the yard but NOT the picture you have shown on your site… He then said that we would be changed another delivery fee for them to pick it back up. Sounds like a con to me. I would stay clear of this company.
I’m hoping that these rocks are just dirty with orange/​red clay and I can wash them, but they look pretty orange to me.
I will update this post if they actually acknowledge that they have the wrong photo on their site and do something to fix this situation.

Love their mulch! Delivery is efficent and the selection is huge!

This is the place to come if you need to drop off wood and brush. Their staging area is excellent and has a uniformly firm surface, unlike their ridiculous Round Rock operation where every third vehicle gets stuck and needs to get pushed or pulled out. Avoid that location and use this place for your brush and wood recycling needs.

I called about dirt and sand for a children’s play area and I received great service! They were knowledgeable and gave me an unbeatable deal. Besides getting lost on the way there (I don’t know the area at all), the entire transaction took less than 10 minutes.
Perhaps I received such outstanding service with a smile because I was a moderately attractive, young FEMALE customer among a sea of men? Regardless, I will be deferring to them until they give me a reason not to!

I was here yesterday afternoon to pick up some stone that I had called about earlier this week. The person I spoke to on the phone was very courteous and pretty well informed. The yard is pretty well organized and I was able to get some of the limestone I needed. The problem arises with the office staff. I would assume that the person in the office that I dealt with is not the only person in there full time. He was rude, uninformed, and short with information and answers. A person came in the office while I was there saying that they had been referred by someone about a job opening. The guy working the desk just literally stared at him and never spoke a word.
If I can make it back out there when the regular office staff is there, I might go back. Otherwise, I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

I ordered 6 yards of Dillo Dirt for delivery, two days in advance (to get on the list early). Prices were competitive, and they said they would load at 7:30am… which means they should be at my place by 8:30 at latest. They showed up at 11am.
I think my mistake was ordering for a Saturday delivery — these guys are probably swamped on Saturdays. I rated 2 stars only because the salesperson did not clarify that there was a 3 – 4 hour window in which they might deliver.
