Why I love training at WLCF… to begin with the engaged coaches create a very safe environment for you to train and get results in an efficient manner. There are several class time options with small class size leading to individualized attention. Community is supportive, fun and encouraging. A lot of thought and effort goes into the programming which keeps one engaged and helps in achieving goals efficiently. Lastly everything is scalable so all fitness levels are encouraged.

I got introduced to Crossfit at this place last year Instantly fell in love with the workouts and the community. I’ve been to a few CFs while traveling but nothing beats the personal attention and knowledge offered by the coaches here.

My go to place for a drop in when I’m in Austin. Coaches here are involved and invested in your improvement. The culture here is also unmatched, everyone is committed to improvement and having a good time. They have a nice facility in a great part of town. Their programming is some of the best I’ve experienced with a good mix of strength and metcon work. Classes flow very fast, you’ll be working for the whole hour.

These folks are super! I was visiting from Arizona and dropped in to Crossfit Westlake for a few workouts. Both staff and members were very welcoming. It was easy to feel at home and the instruction was excellent!

Great Box, the instructors are nice and friendly, the workouts are creative, the music is fun and original. It’s a little hard to find because it’s behind a restaurant.

Jevon, one of the owners, was so friendly and welcoming! I was in town from Houston and needed a Saturday workout so I thought I’d check these guys out. The WOD was fantastic, perfect way to start the weekend. Jevon walked around and made sure everyone’s form was good, made modifications where necessary, and even added additional dynamic moves mid-WOD to keep us on our toes. Everyone was really friendly, even the clients. People welcomed me and asked me about where I was from and what my plans were for the weekend. They were all really nice and friendly. Overall, GREAT experience! Can’t wait to come back!

I haven’t been a member here since I moved out of the ‘hood’, but this was my first CrossFit experience, so I was never able to truly appreciate what a special place this is. You can’t go 20 feet in Austin these days without passing a box, so you could pretty much go anywhere to do CF workouts. What you might not get elsewhere is coaches that truly care about you and enjoy helping you realize your goals, and a community of members that don’t just show up, do their thing and leave– they help and encourage each other, basically following the example set by the trainers. If you’re looking for a ‘community’ type of training, you will not do better than Westlake CrossFit.

Knowledgeable trainers, great Crossit«Garage» gym feel, and friendly/inviting family feel among the members. I checked it out for my first time on 2÷25÷12(and I’ve been to a few Crossfit gyms) and was very impressed! You are doing yourself a great service by checking it out!

I am a longtime fitness professional and this is where I go for my personal workouts. What to Expect: Crossfit, while not for the faint of heart, produces results. Be ready to confront any preconceived notions about your fitness level. If your idea of a workout is catching up with your favorite magazine or tv show, this is going to be a shock to your system. Bring water, a towel and dress appropriately for a garage-style(not temperature controlled) workout. Pros: excellent coaches that have been with Westlake for a long time and believe in their system a familial type bond between your workout cohorts true power and strength gains and good metabolic conditioning Cons: the scale up to full prescription workouts is not gradual enough need more outdoor space to roam and run port-a-potty for a restroom, however there is a sink to wash hands location is quite far West(I only say this because I don’t live out there!) While the Westlake facility is growing there will be some things that will improve with time. I still think that hands down, this is an excellent place to get your workout on.
