I started using Westbank on Exposition several months ago after using several cheaper dry cleaning services that left my clothes with that nasty chemical smell that continues to build up and eventually ruins my nice pieces. I was impressed when the always-​friendly employee asked me at my first visit whether I was familiar with their services, and then proceeded to explain that they are a bit pricier than other dry cleaners and the reasons why. Her honesty was very refreshing and ensured that I wasn’t caught off guard. I have since discovered that you get what you pay for — their attention to detail is impeccable and my clothes never stink like dry cleaning chemicals. Perfect example — I noticed today on a dress blouse that they tagged it and spot treated under the arms. My other dry cleaners never did that! I’m convinced that my clothes will last a lot longer using Westbank, so it’s well worth paying a little extra. If you want a high-​quality dry cleaning service, this is your place. And love the gal who works there! Always very friendly.

rarely do I feel like bashing a local Austin company, but when Westbank Drycleaning charges $ 1480.36 for a bag of wash n fold I have to spread the word. Even worse, when I complained, their response «sorry to lose you as a VIP customer, but some people like their gym clothes cleaned this way» OMG. Maybe you dont know but I spent 5 years working in a drycleaners in Kerrville, TX and unless your press machine is laced with crystal meth you aint ever gonna get a way with charging $ 25 for a childs bathrobe. DONE and DONE with you westbank.

I love it when someone solves a problem for me without my even asking. I’d lost a button on some suit pants — an inward-​facing button that didn’t affect the immediate wearability of the pants but was something of a long-​term nuisance. With limited sewing skills, I wouldn’t have been able to replace the button without using stitches visible at the front, and I thought I’d have to take the pants to a tailor to have the button replaced (kind of a pain!). Not so. Westbank replaced the button perfectly, without charging me and without me asking. Between that, the friendly, efficient service we always receive there, and the care they take in our dry cleaning and my husband’s dress shirts, they get 5 stars from me.
