This is a great little wine bar with very convenient parking. It’s not as crazy and hectic as the other wine bars I have visited(downtown). The owner is a sweetheart and the wine flights are outstanding! I had a flight of reds last night and had the hardest time trying to decide which bottle to buy because they were all so wonderful. We went a while back and ordered a cheese tray — if you like blue cheese, you have to try it! And the red wine flight we had paired up perfectly. Definitely try this place if you are in to wines and like to talk about wine. They are very knowledgeable and will help you pick a bottle or a glass if you need help. Love it!

I have said this many times and I will put it down in words to help seal the point, Vinosity is far and away my favorite wine spot in Austin or anywhere else I have travelled. Myrna and her team have exceptional tastes, zero pretense, and a real passion for wine. Vinosity reminds me of going into my favorite record store from college days(remember those) where the staff knows your tastes and are eager to turn you on to new things. At Vinosity they go out of their way to stock small run, craftsmen made wines and on more than one occasion they have been able to find and source wines that I couldn’t find in Austin or even Texas for that matter. Not to be overly cruel, but the other wine spots in town are poserish, flagrantly over priced, and filled with the same stuff you can get at Central Market for 10% — 15% cheaper. See y’all at Vinosity!

This place has a really cool concept! It is basically an all-in-one retail wine shop(with little mark-up) where you can buy your wine, sit down, crack it open, and order food. The wine list by the glass is updated every week and you can always find something that you like from the shelf. They have a really talented chef that constantly updates the menu. The food looks really good and so does the chef. I was surprised that they had this kind of place in Austin.

This place is great. They have a lot of wines from Paso Robles, CA which I like. You also don’t have to spend a fortune here… lots of reasonably priced selections. The small bit of food they have is out of this world and compliments the wine and environment perfectly. Well done! A neighborhood wine bar the way it should be!

great staff, great service! best place after a long day to just chill. no loud music, no obnoxious people or servers. good place to unwind! and after just take your bottle home and jump into jammies and continue chillin’. Not an alcoholic – just like to chill with my wine.

I couldn’t agree more — Vinosity, , is a great idea whose time has come. The wine and food menu change weekly, so it is a bit like going to a new place every week. Each week, the owner picks a new featured red and white as well as a new flight of reds and a flight of whites. The kitchen also changes the menu weekly. My wife and I fall the regular category but don’t get bored because everything is new each week. They feature flights, which you can sample at the bar or at a table and then buy in the store and take home. You are paying wine store prices, but unlike a store, know that you are going to like what you take home. They don’t have a lot of tables, but I have never had a problem getting a seat even on Friday or Saturday. They seem to always have just one more table when we go. The owner is great — she is very friendly and knowledgeable, but doesn’t look down her nose at people like us that know what we like, but don’t know a lot about wine.

Yep, I concur! Vinosity is a low-key wine lovin’ spot that I’d like to see stick around for a while. I like that it’s never too crowded and is a great place to go if you don’t want to fiddle with the downtown scene. Service has been very good, especially when I had questions about branching out of my go-to wines. Apparently they serve good food as well which I need to try. I think they are on the small side of a dinner plate, but if you are drinking wine why ruin the buzz? Just throw me a cracker or two, I’ll be fine. They don’t have tons of wine to buy or sample and the last 2 times I was there, I think they offered the same flights. Time to switch it up! They should get some board games. That would be fun.

It’s high time this small, friendly wine bar and shop near West 35th and Jefferson got some props. Vinosity, situated just around the corner from the original Kerbey Lane Café, offers a wide selection of affordable wines and impressive small dinner plates. Why do you have to go all the way downtown or to the San Jose for a glass of wine and a little nibbly? You don’t because Vinosity features a rotating menu of wines by the glass, or you can try a bottle from the store for a reasonable corking fee. Most bottles are under $ 25. On Saturdays from 3:00 to 5:00, the bar even has free wine tastings. You can’t beat free! Especially when it accompanies ample parking. The food, though, is what’s impressed me most in my five or so visits to Vinosity. The menu changes each week and includes all sorts of goodies, from sandwiches and salads to filet mignon and veggie pâté. Cheese and bread boards are also available. The atmosphere is cool but casual. A collection of young families, hip students, and older couples were either seated at the bar last week or spread out between Vinosity’s four or five tables. Disclosure: I want to make sure this neighborhood wine bar does well because it’s two blocks from my house, and I don’t like walking more than two blocks for booze.
