I love Devin and Urban Hair! She spent time trying to understand exactly what I wanted and did a great job. They even had mimosas! Excited for my next appointment :)

Love Love Love my hair cut and color. Michelle is the best. I will definitely be back. Michelle is funny and super sweet. She listened to what I wanted and asked questions and then assured me I was in the best hands and I certainly was. I could not be happier.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The atmosphere is great, Nissa is amazing at what she does, they either wine or coffee you up – whichever you like — music isn’t annoying, parking is available, they work with your schedule and everyone who works there is super nice. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a cut, get their hair dyed or styled, you wont’ be disappointed.

If you’re in a rut and want to feel beautiful, this is the place to come! Everyone here is kind, helpful and talented. The owner, Bryan, is amazing at helping you figure out what look works on you and executing it beautifully!

You know you have the right stylist when you go in for a shave and your barber says, «You have a fresh cut,» and then hesitates and asks, «Did we cut your hair?» … as if she is second guessing and I confirmed her guessing by saying «Sorry you guys didn’t cut my hair but, Bryan at Urban Hair did.» I highly recommend Bryan not only do I get my hair cut by him but my two teenage daughters love him as well.

I can’t begin to write out how much I LOVE my hair cut!!! Michelle is amazing!!!
I have been «growing my hair out» (which really means I just didn’t want to be bothered with it!) but I was finally tired of the dead ends and pony tails being my standard hair style! Michelle gladly made time for me and after showing her a few pictures, she set to work! We cut off about 5 inches and I have never loved a hair cut more!!!
The ultimate compliment has been from other friends telling me «I’m obsessed with your hair! I’m getting mine cut now!»

Nissa is the most amazing stylist! I am extremely particular about my hair, and it’s not just the cut it’s the maintenance of my hair and she has helped so much with both-​my hair is healthier than ever. Michelle is amazing!!! She has been doing my cut and color for about 10 years. I got super lucky when she moved to a salon right next to my office. She has done everything from colored my hair platinum to blond highlights, balayage, pink highlights and so much more. I have been to so many stylist in Austin (when she move to Cali for a few years) and nobody has every made my hair look more fabulous then Michelle T.

I take my hair fairly seriously. That being said, I also take my significant other’s hair fairly seriously. Michelle at Urban Hair did an amazing job on my girlfriend’s hair. My girl and I went together because she was a bit nervous about such a drastic change in hairstyle.
We were warmly greeted and welcomed into the comfortable atmosphere and offered beverages. Once we sat down, her pre-​cut jitters faded away.
Michelle was funny and friendly while also exuding confidence as I watched the magic happen. She was open to suggestions and was happy to work with my girlfriend to find the perfect look. The perfect look was achieved and everybody was happy, including myself!
So… Even though I wasn’t technically the one receiving the cut, I felt like it was important to go out of my way to review Urban Hair and let others know about Michelle’s skills with the scissors!

Bryan has been doing my hair for close to 20 yrs. Its amazing to see him in his own place! So deserved! I lived out of state for the last year so I was super excited to get to visit the new place today! Bryan was booked so Michelle did my cut & color. She was awesome!!! Michelle is amazing!!! I have had my hair cut and colored many times with her and she out does herself every time. I recently went dark and I love the color and it looks very natural. I love the new Urban Hair Salon. The location is great with plenty of parking and the reception area is beautiful!

Bryan, Nissa, Devin and receptionist Shayna are a welcoming team of professionals with delightful personalities. I have thick hair with a strong wave. Bryan has been styling and coloring my hair for six years; Nissa has been relaxing my hair for three years. We collaborate on choosing the best color and cut, relaxer and other products. I value their expertise and advice. It takes highly proficient stylists to work with my type of hair.
My visits to the salon are filled with interesting conversations and laughter. I leave feeling refreshed, smiling and beautiful.

Nissa has been doing my hair for about a year at another salon. I was so happy to have found her! She fixed a cut that a really bad (and expensive) stylist had done. I have been going to her ever since, and was more than happy to travel several more blocks to come to the new salon. Nissa is personable, talented and passionate about making her clients look good.

I just moved to Austin & was in desperate need of a highlight. I was driving to a friend’s when their sign caught my eye. I booked an appointment online with Nissa. It’s always a crap shoot to find a new colorist especially since I loved my girl in Dallas. This was hands down the best highlights I have ever had in my entire life. I know that sounds dramatic, but I look like a damn super model. Nissa is amazing, gave me several tips on how to make my color last a little longer & how to properly condition my hair. She was great! The salon is brand new, hip, well lit & everyone is so friendly!
