Turf N’ Surf Poboy

Delicious food and huge portions! All the ingredients were fresh and everything was made to order. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Austin.

Simply Amazing!!! I had the Tuna Tacos and the Sweet Potato Fries with a Mexican Coke!!! Loved every bit of it! They are very generous with the ahi grade tuna on their tacos!!! My new favorite spot for Tuna Tacos in Austin! This truck is a must try!!!

Really not into gulf «seafood».
Great and generous amounts of meat in the sandwiches though my maybe I just didn’t get the right flavor. I can see this kind of food being popular here. It’s worth the money you spend on it. The guy working the cashier/​truck seemed really nice.
Debating if it’s worth it to come back and try something else.

I really enjoy restaurants and shops where you can feel the passion.
Meaning, you can see that the owner took something he or she is really good at and decided to go into business to share it with the world (and hopefully make some $$$).
In this case, the owner is a fairly big, burly guy who will often be seen clearing plates and asking customers how everything was. He puts more care into the operation of 3 food trucks than I see in many brick and mortar restaurants.
I can’t count how many times I’ve eaten at TNS and never had a bad experience.
Also, if you are like me and prefer wild caught fish to farmed just ask, they always have options.
Top Notch.
I’ve tried a lot of their food but to keep this short my top 3 rec’s would be:
sea bass taco’s blackened — pricey but worth it if they have them
buffalo shrimp taco’s fried
texas redfish (or whatever the local catch is on the board) blackened as taco’s or a salad.

Amazing poboys! At first glance, you think «Oh, expensive Domain food.» But the servings are BIG and the ingredients are quality and well-​sourced. I had the jumbo shrimp poboy and my partner had the blackened chicken poboy. Both amazing. Ordered fries, but didn’t need them. Ended up having half the sandwich for lunch and the other half for dinner.

Best meal I have ever had living in Austin, the Blackened Snapper Poboy was amazing! Checked it out after work at the Coolhaus food truck & loved it will be going back all the time!

The blackened snapper poboy! My god its amazing. Grilled mahi tacos were soooo tasty too. They just opened in front of the ipic theatre.
