Tino’s has gone downhill. We have been eating there for many years(multiple locations) however the food quality has dropped and the staff could care less. I have walked in and walked right back out because the chicken is burnt to a crisp; the lettuce is brown and soggy and the dining area is unkept. Go to Athenian or Pars instead. This place is finished.

After my mom and husband insisted on trying them we finally made our way here. Raw meat!!! Yes Raw meat!!! I couldn’t belive it, it was in every single plate even my daughter’s kids plate. All I have to say is WEBETTERNOTGETSICKAFTEREATING. This is disgusting. Please go somewhere else and avoid this place.

Tino’s is the perfect lunch location. They are fast, affordable, and they taste good. I do not look for much else at lunchtime. I am a huge fan of the Gyro Wrap. It is your standard Beef/Lamb combo with lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumber, and tizini sauce for under $ 6.50. That is cheaper than a sub sandwich most places. I rarely get the sides but the ones I have had are solid choices starting with the Spanakopita which has a good amount of spinach and not an overbearing amount of feta. Dough is flaky and was not overdone when I had it. The Domathes were well stuffed and had a good flavor as well. I also tried the Pot Roast and Hummus and what can I say they were pot roast and hummus. I wish that they had an option to just do a 3 side plate and I would do that on occasion. If you like Mediterranean food Tino’s is a great choice. If you just want a change of pace they are a very good alternative as well.

Lots of food, delicious. My husband wasn’t as crazy about it but I’ll twist his arm to come back!

The service was quick even though it was 12 lunch hour. I got the combo plate-always a good deal with gorgeous sides. My only complaint was a lazy salad, but perhaps the dressing they put on it doesn’t help. I did order out and eat within 20 mins. Not a bad experience.

I am Greek, even used to cook in a Greek café like this, and Tino’s does not even measure up to a normal Greek fast food place. Gyro meat was luke warm, chicken was fatty, and the veggies were overcooked like they had sat all day in the warming bins. This is like a Greek buffet table and one place I probably won’t be coming again. I ate at Tino’s years ago and it was better but has gone down hill.

Came here for lunch on Tuesday with my husband. We both got the combo plate and got the following: 2 meets(salad or soup) and 3 sides. 1) chicken 2) lamb 3) greek salad — lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta, greek yogurt type dressing, k. olive 4) tzatziki 5) tabouli 6) doulmas/he got the falafel 7) hummus with pita bread on the side ALLOFITWASDELICIOUS. I rarely ever give 5 stars on a first time visit but this was all so good and pretty reasonably priced for what you got. There was no way I could have finished everything anyway so next time I’d order it in a to go plate even if I ate there b/c It really was so much food. I loved it ! Cant wait to go back and try the salad. and lemon chicken orzo soup.

I’ve eaten at many Greek restaurants, but this was the first time it was more of a fast food experience. Everything is pre made so once you place your order all they have to do is plate it for you. That doesn’t mean their food isn’t fresh, just that they make it as needed instead of to order(much like Chipotle). My husband and I came for lunch and each got their chicken platter. For $ 10 a plate they give you an enormous amount of food! The platters come with a choice of meat(or vegetables), 3 sides, and either feta salad, lentil soup, or lemon chicken soup. The chicken is sliced fresh off a spit, but a tad lower grade than I like as there was a lot of fat and gristle in it. Some people might argue that they use those cuts because they are more flavorful which I agree with, but getting a bite full of gristle is not very appetizing. I also wasn’t used to the spice mixture they used. Normally Greek chicken is seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil, some oregano and garlic, but here it is a deep orange color almost like paprika? I’m not complaining because the flavors were great, just not what I expected is all. I picked the feta salad and for my three sides chose hummus, spanakopita, and the rice pilaf. They give you tzatziki sauce as well, but it lacked flavor to me. When I dipped the good parts of the chicken in it with all the spices however, it was quite good. The hummus and spanakopita I loved, and forgot to mention they give you one free piece of pita bread per platter as well. If you want more, you do have to pay extra for it. The feta salad was alright, but drowning in dressing. The rice pilaf I didn’t care for either because usually it’s more of an orzo rice, but here simply tasted like white rice with peas and carrots in it. I do think that for the price you pay and the amount of food you get they are definitely worth checking out. Some of the flavors are there for sure, but I still craved more of the authentic ones. Overall though, good in a pinch with plenty of parking and friendly employees. More like 3.5 stars.

I wanted to really like this place. I don’t think I will be rushing back anytime soon. Let’s start with the good. I really liked the lamb. It was juicy and flavorful. The two choices of baklava were authentic and actually one of the better I had had. Too bad the rest of the experience isn’t worth a trip back. When I first came in there was a little line by where you are supposed to place your order. You can’t see the menu from the line at all. You have to step out of line and in the area where the line flows to even see the menu, then you have to somehow figure out this crazy puzzle and how and what to order and what you are going to pay. I couldn’t figure it out after staring at it for ten minutes. Check it out, I took a photo of it. I finally just ordered a simple Gyro. Easy enough… she asked if I wanted everything. I said, yes everything. Apparently everything is not all the toppings in front of you. It’s extra for olives and feta. No way of knowing that… she didn’t ask let me know they were extra and she didn’t offer them or attempt to serve. Just asked if I wanted everything and then asked what sides I wanted. I looked at the sides, but none of them were labeled and I had no idea what half of them where. I asked the young lady and the register what was good, but she was to busy texting to pay attention and have an opinion. So I just stuck with the Gyro. We sat down and I picked it up and the bread split. I doubt it’s something they make there. It smelled kind of yeast like or older and it was too soft. Not nearly as good as other Greek places. The place is kind dirty and in need of cleaning. Table seemed soda sticky and it just looked dirty. There was also blaring Greek music. I didn’t mind the music, but the volume was set way too high and you couldn’t even hold a conversation. There are tons of lunch choices in the area, doubt I would go back here unless all other options in the area where full.

Came here for lunch on a Friday, I expected there to be a line just because it was prime lunch time in the arboretum area. There was a line but they got the line moving. The food was great, ton of food for the $ 9 lunch. I got the combination of gyro meat and chicken, but I wish I’d had gotten just chicken. The chicken had amazing seasoning and wasnt dry like most other chicken that’s shawarma style.

This place is great. They have a lunch that is fantastic with plenty of food. The spanakopita is possible the best I have ever had.

Almost a year ago, I stumbled across this place and thought… haven’t had Greek in a while. This is a super casual restaurant that seems geared more toward take-out then dine-in(they do have tables if you want eat there), but as soon as I saw the actual round slab-o-meat on the grill I decided to give it a try. Have been back on many occasions and always get the same thing — the Gyro Plate — but try different sides now and then. The Gyro Plate includes: Gyro(duh) Salad: Feta Choice of 1 of 2 soups: Lentil or Lemon Chicken Soup Pita bread AND choice of three sides… wait for it… all for $ 10.99! What I’ve tried: *Gyro — meat is nicely grilled, juicy, flavorful and there is a lot of it on the dinner portion; NOT that frozen, prepackaged crap I’ve regrettably had at a few other places *Feta salad — iceberg with creamy Fate dressing, tomatoes, red onions, and prefect briny Kalamata olives *Chicken lemon soup — tangy, small bits of chicken… odd, not particularly bad *Lentil soup: almost like a super thin purée, runny and a little oily but good flavor *Pita bread: maybe house made?-super soft and grilled to perfection The sides: I’ve tried: — Spanakopita — flaky puff pastry, good filling — Falafel — not awful! Has been overcooked once or twice, but usually very good — Tzadziki(on very first visit) — thought it was kind of a strange option for a side«dish» but order b/c I definitely wanted some with my Gyro and pita — not necessary — they give you a small container with your order –Hummus: uh Hum! So fresh, just the right amount of Tahini, great texture –Tabouli: VERY fresh herbs, cracked wheat cooked perfectly –Dolmathes: As expected — can order without meat in them The BEST Greek food I’ve ever had? Maybe not, but actually pretty darn close. Great Greek food is really hard to come by. For the quality, serving sizes, and price — Deserves a solid 5 star rating! Service: Super FAST and friendly– I guess I was right about being operated similar to fast food. Walk up to counter, order all of your choices, and they prepare and box right in front of you. Seriously, this is «fast food?» Good food fast is A-OK with me! Thanks for take-home dinner again tonight Tinos! No cooking or cleaning for me!

Found the hummus and gyro meat to be up to par — but this is what you should expect at any greek food place right? The salad was also pleasantly light and fresh. The issue is with the sides: the rice pilaf is unseasoned rice with peas and carrots from a can(or frozen bag) tossed in. The lima beans in tomato sauce is pretty forgettable. And the pita bread is on the thicker, tougher-to-chew end. Prices are good, portions are large, service is fast, food quality is par — so think greek fast food restaurant and you’ll be pleased. Otherwise, you can get better greek(or shwarma) food at similar prices at other locations around town.

Pretty good food, family really liked the gyro meat and I loved the chicken. Nice staff too, very helpful. Not impressed with the dress of the place… i.e. ice tea container was uncovered, soda machine had taped stickers on it, water was served from a bin… But again, food was pretty good! 8-)

This is good for fast-food Greek, but there’s a limit to how good fast-food Greek can be. I love Greek food. Feta cheese, olives, olive oil, dolmas, souvlaki, gyros, hummus, felafel and pretty much everything in between makes me happy. That being said, mass-produced Greek food tends to wind up being bland and disappointing, so when coworkers wanted to take me here I was skeptical. Once there, the food was good, but not stunning. The chicken gyro meat wasn’t too dry and actually had plenty of seasoning. The hummus was good if a bit more oily than you might like. The lowest points were the dry dolmas and the pita bread which looked, felt and tasted store bought and then heated up. For me what knocks them down to three stars from four is that it’s still $ 11 – 12 for a meal without a drink here and for that I can go to Dimassi’s which has a buffet that offers a broader selection and I think has better food. I’d be much happier if this was in the $ 8 – 9 range.

Felt a bit off after eating here. Definitely for the price you get a lot of food. I liked that the plates aren’t set and you get to choose your choice of meat and sides. The food is mostly all pre-made and glistening, due to the high oil/grease content. I got the salad, chicken, dolmades, falafel, and grilled veggie eggplant mixture. The chicken was very dry and tasteless, the only thing that helped it go down was the Tzatziki sauce. The Tzatziki sauce itself was lacking in that cucumber flavor and was on the runny side, vs. good tzatiki which is usually thick. The falafel is flat in shape here vs. in a ball as they said it was easier to put in wraps that way. It had no flavor, and was dry after having sat out in the food heater for a bit. The dolmades was nothing special, but at least OK. The best part was the eggplant mixture. It was greasy but had great flavor and spice. The salad was OK as well, at least it was good lettuce vs. just iceberg stuff that most of these type of places have. I wouldn’t come here again, but I had a lot of food, didn’t need much for dinner that night, for a very cheap price. One positive is they do have a clearly marked separate Gluten Free menu.

I can’t believe I tried another Tino’s. Compared to Par’s(which is fantastic by the way), this place is sad. Lots of tables were dirty. Food in the chairs. The falafel was over cooked. Oh and hair in my falafel. Two actually. No sir. No thanks. Never again. The old three stars here is the hummus.

I’m surprised that Tino’s has so many locations now. This is the first time I’ve been to this location, and it’s very similar to the other locations. I usually get the gyro plate with three vegetables and lentil soup. The soup is pretty good, although today it was pretty thin. The gyro meat is tasty, but today it looked like it was roasting on the rotisserie a little too long. The meat still tasted very good, and their tzatziki sauce is extremely yummy. They have many sides to choose from, and pretty much everyone will find something they like. Overall, it’s a very good value for lunch. Unfortunately I can’t comment on how authentic the food is, as I’m a novice to Greek food.
