Entered the restaurant and there was no one there to greet and seat us. Waited about 4 minutes before anyone came to sit us down. Hostess was rude when asking for our drinks. I asked for Mountain Dew and she replied with, «We only have Pepsi products.» Mountain Dew’s a Pepsi product. Food was way below par. Everything tasted like it had been out for more than a few hours. There was no cook at the grill when I first got there. I waited. When he did get there he stayed on his phone, ignoring me waiting for him. Overall, not a very good experience. Will not be coming back.

Went there yesterday for lunch. The food was mediocre at best. There was a strange slime on everything. Not a gravy, but a slime type substance. Green beans are NOTSUPPOSEDTOBESLIMEY! The food was bland. The sushi was okay but the wasabi was bad. Didnt even taste like wasabi. Tasted like it was cut with avacado or something. Honestly, my stomach is still a little jacked up a day later. I wont be back. Enter at your own risk.

I have not reviewed in a while. But this place pushed me over the edge. In my lifetime I have suffered through many bad meals. But this one tops them all. Not only was this the most poorly prepared food that I have ever experienced. But the owner rufused to speak to me. I understand that people do not like to explain what this is supposed to be but still. I’m sorry that my food is horrible will surfice. Please do not eat at this place.

If you don’t go in with astronomical expectations you’ll leave smiling and satisfied every time. The food, while certainly not Parisian in quality, deserves an applause. Not only do they have 10+ types of sushi, there is also a Mongolian style sautee. If you don’t like the idea of eating foodstuffs which have been there for maybe 20 minutes before you got there, try that. They [notably] serve octopus, fried frog legs, fresh fruit of many varieties, traditional Chinese cuisines, at least 12 types of ice cream which you get to serve yourself, 15+ types of pastries, cakes and sweets… shrimp prepared in at least 4 different forms, crawfish, salmon… Come on… it’s like a stripmall for East Asian foods! Perhaps if people here spoke to the staff in person(and kindly) they would start taking note that their concept is indeed a great one, it just needs a touch up. It really is amazing walking in there every time and seeing the huge Hong Kong(?) city-scape… then a few more steps, and seafood paradise has begun. Traditional Chinese-East Asian buffet… I’ll keep going and enjoying!

I decided to go here with co-workers thinking that there would be enough people eating, that the trays were being refilled with fresh food. Oh boy, was I wrong! One of the seafood dishes had an odor to it, which made it questionable to eat. There were two kinds of seaweed salad, one of them, my co-workers buys at MT on a regular basis and knows what it should taste like… it was spoiled. Now, the one by the sushi bar in a «little pocket» was okay to eat. I got some cheese wontons and they were old(meaning the wonton was not crunchy and you knew it had been sitting there for a while). The chicken and jalapenos was flavorful, but also had been out for a while because the meat was tough and dry. The same goes for the Teriyaki Chicken skewers. The steak fries were excellent, crisp and fresh! The final straw was when the homeless guy that was panhandling outside the door was seated in the same room as us. When he got up to get food, the aroma that followed him was enough to nauseate me and my two co-workers that we had to leave. I am all for having an open door policy, but when he stunk the way he did and is now handling the ladles for the food, I cannot say that I will be back to this establishment.

This place is okay. If you want fast cheap buffet then it’s slightly decent. The food isn’t that great of quality, the sushi/rolls bar is the only place I eat really when me and my husband go cause I feel like that is the most decent part of the buffet. The actual sushi itself isn’t cut very well and is very thin but I guess that is normal for a chinese buffet. Don’t eat the shrimp it always has a weird rubber like texture and always tastes off. The raw oysters aren’t great either. We prefer going to Fujian Buffet over this one any day, just better quality food there and better quality sushi/california rolls.

The sushi was terrible! I know it’s a cheap buffet, but this was particularly bad. The rice was super dry and the soy sauce tasted like sweet and sour. There were no labels on anything, so it’s a crap shoot what you’re actually getting. This was a problem for my pescatarian husband because oftentimes buffet sushi(and other items) contain meat. The Mongolian BBQ guy was nowhere to be found, even after ringing the bell several times. When he showed up, he was on his phone the entire time! I’m pretty sure he had turned off the grill too because my food took forever. There were a decent amount of Mongolian toppings, including some mystery sauces. I would have asked what they were, but no one working there was around or cared. They had crab legs, which is what I really wanted(and 99% why we go to Chinese buffets), but the freshness was pretty questionable so I didn’t have many. It’s cheap, but not cheap enough.

The buffet actually looks pretty shady from the outside, but on the inside, it looks perfectly fine. I didn’t come here with high expectations since the Unilocal reviews are really low, but the food was actually decent. I came here for the lunch buffet, and they had a pretty large selection of foods compared to standard Chinese buffets. My particular favorites were the pot roast, which was very tender, and the grilled salmon, which was pretty flavorful. The buffet also featured a variety of different seafood with sushi. They even have a large selection of different flavors of ice cream. Although the food isn’t the best here, it comes at a low price of about $ 9. If I am feeling very hungry, I would definitely consider going back again.

This is standard Chinese buffet stuff, albeit with more seafood than I’ve seen at other places. The steamed mussels were okay, I had one that tasted stinky, but the rest were fine. The peel and eat shrimp were good. Sushi selection consisted of more rice than fish. Cooked selections were fine. Wait staff was courteous and attentive. Lunch was $ 9.09, before tip. I’d definitely go back again at that price.

You get what you pay for. Compares to other Chinese buffet places, this place is slightly pricier, but it’s also slightly cleaner, and the food is slightly fresher. That’s about it, nothing too special about it. Just like all the other Chinese buffet restaurants you tried, they have sweet or soy sauce for every dishes. The sushi were plain, but not horrible, many of them put way to much starch in them. They have fruits, as you expected, but some are canned fruits, as you expected as well. Although I do have to compliment the waitress for our dinner who was attentive but not annoying. You usually get ignored a whole lot in other Chinese buffet restaurants, so kudos to them.

I have been to this place several times now, and it has not changed. I only go because my significant other likes the seafood there and I tolerate it. Now I have witnessed a new low. The table bus guy banged his cart into me and kept on going like nothing happened. $ 14 for blah food and attitude. Wow!

If you love seafood like me, they’ve got TONS! It’s under $ 8 for lunch and hopefully when they renovate in a week because their sister locale, Royal buffet finally closed, will just get that much better! If you’re not a fan of the«food from the deep» theirs plenty of well crafted sushi and traditional asian cuisine too. The pot roast I thought couldn’t be good at a buffet, yet it’s better than my own moms, and hers is AWESOME! The freshest oranges I’ve ever had at a buffet can be found and i end up eating a dozen wedges for a dessert!!!

After reading some of the reviews, I did not have high hopes. I was was proven wrong, this place has good food and the wait staff checks on you but does not interrupt your conversations or eating. The buffet tables were not loaded with food. I think this is good because too much food on the table would get dry or wasted. Let me start with the sushi, not too many prices were out. I understand that if they put too many out it many get dried out. The pot roast was moist but the carrots and potatoes were mush. The other food was good and the ice cream was awesome. The fruit was fresh and very happy with the watermelon and oranges. We were there for about 2 hours and we saw a steady flow of people coming and going but it did not feel crowded and we were able to have a good conversation and did not have to strain to hear each other talk.

I came here with really low expectations. I was ready to be disappointed. The selection is very small for a super buffet. They have a couple of American options. Dry pot roast and instant mashed potatoes. The quality of the food overall is not terrible. The fruit looked fresh. The sushi looked fresh and the entrees seemed freshly set out. The meal is $ 10. The place was cleaner than my expect ions. I was worried about my car getting broken into. I did hear some yelling from the kitchen and the staff was not particularly friendly. I am giving two stars because I cannot define why you should come here.

It’s Thursday evening, not many patrons. Food are cold, and bland. The Mongolian bar chef had a fight with the lady in front of me, because she didn’t want the eggs. He picked up the eggs with his hand, put them a plate. He cooked my food, and asked me if I want them. I said no, he got mad, slammed the plate and spatula on the grilled and walked away. Stay away! Unless you like bad food and bad service.

This might just be the worst Chinese buffet I have ever encountered. The food was bland and the choices were limited. With so many other buffets that are really good, don’t waste your time on this one.

This is the worst buffet I have ever experienced. The food was less than mediocre and the service was sub par. The food was old and tasted terrible. The food was so bad that I will never go back again. The lesson to be learned is that if the parking lot is pretty empty at 6:15pm then you should probably leave it that way.
