A friend of mine always looks snazzy and put together. I asked her what her secret is and she said with a smile, «Thea Wood.»
I recently worked with Thea and she has truly changed my life. I walked into our consultation needing guidance on how to put together a polished and approachable look. She delivered that and more.
Her demeanor is warm, friendly, down to earth and fun. During our meetings I felt like I was chatting with a friend :) She is compassionate and understanding of the struggles I felt about my body. Society isn’t kind to women with curves and as someone who struggled with eating disorders her whole life, I had been beating myself up about my appearance. She approached those concerns from a loving place and has helped me look at clothing sizes in a more healthy way. In an industry that typically shames women for their «inadequacies» Thea helped me feel good myself.
I love my color wheel and it’s already proven so helpful during my most recent shopping trips. The color analysis alone is a smart investment in yourself because it enables you to successful select clothes/​accessories that truly compliment you and get you the most bang for your buck overall. I also did the body consultation and learned so much about what types of clothing works best on my figure. She created a lovely book for me to use as a guide and I adore it!
I really enjoyed working with Thea and absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to give themselves a gift. We get help for all other areas of our life (ie:personal trainers, nutritionists, hairstylists, and doctors)…why not get help in creating your desired look? I’ve gone on and on about Thea since I first started working with her, so I figured I’d get on Unilocal and make it official.
I always like to have a little self-​improvement project going on in my life, and since I’ve just moved to Austin, and a lot of things are correspondingly very new for me, I thought it would be a great time to focus on the way I present myself, and project my personality, to others. Consulting Thea was, for me, the right choice. Hands down.
The Service: Thea has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She reaches you with a seamles blend of professionalism and warmth. Her passion for style is visibly apparent, and her enthusiasm for helping you look your best is contagious.
The Product: I love my color fan, and I take it everywhere with me — it’s beautiful, first of all. On the more practical end, it’s easy to use, and Thea has helped me to understand why certain colors work better than others, and how to use them, and what to look for. My style guide is detailed, personalized, and easy to use. Finally, the clothes I’ve bought with Thea… well, I’m beyond happy with this. She takes the time to get to know you — your personality, your lifestyle, your goals — and she uses this to customize your shopping experience. In the clothes I picked with Thea, I don’t feel like someone else dressed me. I feel like someone else guided me toward what I really wanted and needed, but never would have found on my own.
The Bonus: I’ve learned so much about myself in the process… so, if you really embrace the process and open up to it, you’re really working on yourself both inside and out.

Thea gently pushes me out of my comfort zone so I experiment with new things that always look fabulous. She is brave and kind when she lets me know what looks best and when I can do better. I have excellent
