The Allandale Condos

The apartment we stayed in was lovely and clean. Location is good.
Desk Service — not so much. The week-​end person wasn’t helpful at all in making possible for us to rent bikes as they advertised in the room.
We love being in Austin but didn’t get the chance to enjoy it on bikes as we had planned on our last day in town.

I live here and love it! I have a two bedroom condo and it’s perfect, it even has an attic! Everything inside is brand new including stainless steal appliances and granite counter tops — the good stuff. Never in my wildest dreams did I think right out of college would I be living in something so nice nor did I think I would be owning! The Allandale made it possible. I have been here 2 ½ years now and couldn’t be happier with my decision to purchase.
The neighborhood is lovely. It is extremely close to everything, great restaurants (all my favorites in walking distance — Cover 3, El Mercado, Chipotle, Starbucks, Einstein’s, etc.), post office in walking distance, shopping etc. Not to mention that Alamo Drafthouse is walking distance as well! Plus It’s just far enough away from downtown to be quiet and quaint but close enough to be only a $ 20 cab ride downtown, and if you would prefer to ride the bus for extra cheap, it pulls up right across the street! I’m already out of college but the UT bus picks up right out front as well (so I’ve been told — obviously don’t ride it…) My dog loves it here too, lovely neighborhood to go on walks through and it’s very safe! Love it and would highly recommend this place!
