Texas Junk Boys

Saw their ads posted on Craigslist — they were very communicative and seemed very nice. I let him know that I saw a groupon for cheaper and he understood, and explained that he and his sons were just starting out, so I resisted the urge to save a little money and went with the underdog. I explained I was on a fixed budget and we agreed on a price.
Low and behold, suddenly that’s «more stuff than he thought» and «we’ll see what we can fit.» This was what I was hoping to avoid — as I read a TON of reviews on other junk companies where the hauler tries to convince you to pay more money.
Basically, what ended up happening was I spent my entire budget and he wouldn’t budge on only taking about ½ the stuff when all was said and done. Tried contacting him several times afterward to relay that I was upset about the situation to see what we could work out. Of course, since he’s already got my money, there’s been no response.
So, all-​in-​all, I’m left with ½ of my junk pile, no more budget, and the icing on the cake was ending up having to sweep up all the tile and random branches (from another job) they left behind in the street.
Would not use again or recommend.

I’ve used a few different haul away services. This is the one I’d call again.
I called — got immediate response.
I needed an estimate — he was there to check it out.
I had a very massive array of junk and debris in every corner of the yard — he took care of it all.
I had shopped around for prices on junk hauling — he was priced far better than everyone else.
What did I have removed ?
— Rotting wood piles, old construction debris of various types. I took pictures. It was a frightening amount of stuff really. And… The yard looks sooooooooooooooo much prettier now!
