Go here now. Mezcal is poised to be the next big thing and you know that means you won’t be able to get near this place. The bartender the night we were there was awesome. He took the time to explain everything to every person who asked and was great at providing suggestions if you knew your particular taste. I was able to try some amazing smoky mezcals and can’t wait to come back and try some more. The spot is tiny(aren’t all Mezcalerias?), which I love. I also love drinking out of tiny ceramic copitas and eating the slices of oranges with chili spices. If you haven’t tried Mezcal before, this is a perfect place to start. They are great with beginners and the little copitas are perfect for tasting several types. Definitely come here with a friend or two and try something new!(I did not mean to rhyme)

Really cozy atmosphere, the bartender Mike was very friendly and helpful, and made me an awesome margarita. Even though tequila isn’t really our thing, we’ll definitely be going back!

The place is cool but super small. Would be good for a date spot. I actually didn’t end up staying and we went downstairs for a drink instead to school house. Bartenders look like they knew what they were doing, though! Drinks are a bit pricey

Waiting for this place to open and I was not disappointed. The décor is cozy and relaxing, although it is sister to School House Pub, it is a very different atmosphere. Hierba, Tepache Mapache and Cereza Hermosa are a smooth and refreshing, even for a fall day. Edgar and Christina always get it right.
