I wouldn’t return to this station even if I was in danger of running out of gas, so I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I haven’t felt like this about a gas station before. It’s more an issue with the folks hanging around the store and minor inconveniences, rather than the service. I thought I was about the run out of gas so I pulled into this station. There was a guy just waiting in the parking lot without a car(who knows what he was waiting around for??), and a couple loudly arguing at the bus station located at the corner of the gas station. The station doesn’t have pay-at-the-pump, so I had to go inside to charge gas. The attendant was located behind, what I assume to be, bullet-proof glass. The attendant was extremely nice, but his courtesy wasn’t enough to shake my fear. As I pumped me gas, the arguing couple only got louder and more verbally aggressive with each other. The lonely loiterer was still standing in the parking lot, and even he couldn’t look away from the couple at the bus stop. This place was scary to me, and I wasn’t even there at night. Cons: No pay-at-the-pump Everything else Pros: The attendant was nice, but it doesn’t make up for the cons Sunrise is such a nice name, but this place was scary. I’m not stopping there again, but my advice to anyone else is to not ever make the mistake of going there at night, if you have to go there at all.
