Sunny Wigs

I came here for my first hairpiece ever and Joan was soooo helpful! We spent about 20 minutes looking for extensions to match my multicolored curl pattern and unfortunately we couldn’t find any. She suggested that it would be better to buy a synthetic wig that matched my curl pattern and cut it into a crown extension piece! Brilliant! She helped me cut it, and even showed me how to see the clips in :) I can’t emphasize how helpful this woman was. I recommend this little shop (with not-​so-​little inventory) to everyone! I only got a synthetic piece, but I know she has name-​brand pieces (reckon, Rene of Paris, etc) as well. They also have cheap eyelashes too. I definitely snagged a few. $ 1.99 lashes? Hellll yeah!

About 3 years ago I went through a tragedy in my life that caused an extreme case of PTSD and at my late 20’s caused my hair to fall out. After several recommendations from my hair stylist at the time and my friends I went to Sunny’s Wigs to get several that looked more like my real hair to make me feel more comfortable in my skin. They had a professional on staff who found one that best matched my curly hair which is VERY hard to do while teaching me how to put it on, how to clean it and how to pin it to my head. They made me feel beautiful again and I am forever grateful. I would recommend this shop over every shop I have ever visited. No matter your situation — Sunny Wigs can find the perfect wig for you even if it needs to be ordered and they come in a variety of shapes, styles and prices that wont kill your pocket book. Im only sorry it took me this long to write this stellar review of this store.

I bought a wig here for the Texas State production of Noises Off! and was quite pleased with the price and the result onstage. Sunny’s has a wide selection of wigs and (since we were the only people in the store) our service was pretty good. She wasn’t too pushy like some of these places are, and she wanted to make sure we had the right color and style. She also let us look at the wig on a head form and offered to help us style it if necessary.
The store is a little messy and doesn’t have the best lighting, but when buying a wig I will most likely choose this place again.
