Dr. Stakes is awesome. His staff is awesome. When I first started going to him I could hardly sit due to other chiropractors adjusting me. Dr. Stakes created a regimen for my rehabilitation that worked. Once my back bones got used to where they were supposed to be my muscles fell in line. Now my back feels great and I can sit and/​or stand in comfort as long as I like. Thank You Stakes Chiropractic!!!

So far so great! Dr. Stakes and his magic hand thingy machine is awesome. He charges $ 60.00 per session, and $ 15.00 per electro muscle therapy. which is totally worth the money!
He definitely has corrected my body over the last three sessions.. My body is trying to tell me it hates being adjusted, but I know I needed it. I go about twice a week and right now we are doing it step by step. Dr. Stakes truly listens to what you have to say about the process and the staff is awesome too. I love Dr. Stake’s assistant, as she reminds me of a wonderful grandma. She is sweet, and listens to my concerns too. Natalie runs the wellness clinic and she is cool too!

I highly recommend Dr. Stakes. His technique is gentle yet effective. He is all about balance and will get you adjusted and back in balance in no time. I recently took my mom in with chronic lower back pain and she is practically pain free after only a few visits. Thumbs up to Dr. Stakes and his staff.

Dr. Stakes has helped me tremendously! I am a hairstylist on my feet hours at a time 6 days a week. At only 29 yrs old I have osteoporosis and TMJ. Whenever I am out of alignment his staff (Vi — his assistant/​receptionist:) tries to get me in for an appt ASAP. He stays really busy, so book ahead! His technique is extremely gentle and effect. Best part is that he gets the job done without any popping or cracking!

I really believe Doug Stakes of Stakes Chiropractic is one of the best kept secrets in Austin. Operating out of a small office on Brodie Lane, he works his magic on patients of all ages and body types each and every day. Dr. Stakes and his loyal staff are friendly and really take the time to get to the root of the problem for each individual patient.
I hurt my neck during SXSW (long story… just don’t carry a super heavy purse around for 12 hours) and came to see Doug Stakes on a recommendation from a coworker, not knowing what to expect. I can honestly say now, I would never go anywhere else in Austin (or Texas for that matter) for chiropractic care. His methods are gentle, yet extremely effective. And they make sense.
Dr. Stakes also helped alleviate my allergies, and helped me figure out how to properly adjust the driver’s seat in my car and my chair at work, to help me work towards getting to the root of what was happening with my neck. I feel so much better and am totally convinced that chiropractic with Doug Stakes is completely effective.
