I like this place because they have a large inventory of remnant granite, marble, and travertine pieces. A lot of places only sell slabs or have a minimum sq ft requirement. Southwest Marble & Granite doesn’t, which makes them very accommodating to all sizes of projects – even a small bathroom vanity.
I also like the fact they insist on using mechanical fastening system for undermount sinks. A lot of installers just glue a undermount to the countertop which will eventually delaminate.

I’m a General Contractor and have worked with the various Granite suppliers and Fabricators around Austin for about 8 years.
At Southwest Marble & Granite Works, Christy and Tony were very professional, knowledgeable and provided realistic expectations. Installation happened right on schedule and was done PERFECTLY!
I am a very picky person when it comes to the details, and their Quality of installation was ‘spot on.‘
Their pricing was very competitive with the other top 3 Granite Yards /​Fabricators. What really made the difference was their being on top of the process from the beginning to the end. I’ve never had a smoother job be completed!
I’m confident that you’ll be glad you chose to work with them. I know I’ll use them on my next remodel.

Walk through the slab yard and choose the exact piece of granite you want to use for your bath or kitchen countertop. Smaller slabs make nice coffee table tops. Todd Wojtowecz is an extremely helpful sales associate and will work with you to find something in your price range.
