A perfect shaved ice snow cone. Many flavors from which to choose. Very friendly, efficient service. Good prices. Plenty of free parking and great location along South Lamar.

Experience started out great. we walked up and the 2 girls noticed we had a dog, they immediately brought out a water bowl full of shaved ice and water as well as a couple doggie treats — what a very nice gesture! Then after eating the doggie treats my dog had to go to the restroom. Afterwards I proceeded to pick up the dog poop and threw it away with triple knots, in the trash can. As I did that, an older lady came out screaming from her car saying«really really!» She was upset bc I put a tied up poop bag in the trash can. I asked her then why do you promote a dog friendly environment with water bowls and dog treats and not expect a dog to have to go to the restroom!!! Was I wrong, should I have left the poop on the grass for THEIR customers to step in??? Bottom line– she ruined the experience. I am a business owner myself and would never treat a customer like that. I will never ever go there again.

this was THEEBEST snow cone/shaved ice that i’ve EVER had. hands down. they have tons of flavors and rad mixtures to create new flavors that are off the hook. they even put the flavors halfway down so you don’t have just pure ice at the end. seriously: THEEBEST snow cone ever!!!

Service was a bit slow, but the snow cone was awesome, great shaved ice and more flavors than you can imagine. To top it all off, this was one of the cleanest sno cone trailers I’ve ever seen!

It was the first of many scorching hot days in Austin, Texas and what is on my mind? SNOWCONES. My sister & I were craving something to cool us down and I remembered that this little shaved ice trailer was just 2 blocks away from where I lived so we headed down in hopes that it would be open. The two women working behind the counter were super friendly & got the few people in front of us their shaved ice quickly. We weren’t sure what flavor to choose so they offered us samples to help make up our minds. I went with the Pink Lemonade & sis went with Tiger’s Blood/Mango. Both were really good, refreshing & only $ 2.50 for a small(which was plenty). They only accept cash so don’t forget to go to an ATM or look under your couch cushions before coming here for a sweet snow cone!

This isn’t much of a review, but more of a warning. South Austin Sno, I have been saving free snowcone cards for three years. I have accumulated four free snowcones. This year, I am coming for all of them. You better be prepared.

This is one of the best snow cones I have had since moving to Austin, back in August of last year. The ice is shaved and is as smooth as silk. There are plenty of great flavors, though, I only have eyes for pink bubble gum. Cecily is super friendly and is more than accommodate any request you may have. I will be back, many times.

I’m not sure if this is a new location for this Snow Cone stand… but, I am glad it’s there! The ice is not crushed ice type of ice, but rather she soft shaved type of ice that makes a snow cone that much better. They are heavy hand when it come to the syrup so that every millimeter of ice has flavor. Also, the price is just right. $ 2.50 for a small — 12 oz, $ 3.00 for a medium-16 oz, and $ 3.50 for a large — 20 oz. The lady… who’s name I can’t remember, even though she told me twice… was super nice, even rushing to open the stand because I was there. They open at 2 and I walked out of La Feria at 1:45. They also have a cone card… I think that’s what it’s called… which they mark every time you buy a snow cone and after I believe 10 purchases, you get a free snow cone. SCORE!!! Well needless to say I will most likely be a regular here since it’s close to work, and I love a good snow cone on a hot day!
