First time home buyer– Mike helped me close about a month ago. He has a ton of knowledge on the Austin market, and went over a detailed market analysis for me by zip code. We looked at a ton of properties together to get an idea of what I was looking for, and he even checked a few out for me while tied up at work. He even turned out to be a master negotiator and got me down ~15k from the appraised value! We just recently bought our first home with Mike’s help and we could not have been happier with him as our realtor. Our situation was somewhat complicated in that we were renting a home and were informed with about a month’s notice that we would need to move out, as the owner was selling. We decided to see if we could buy a place in this short time-​frame, though I was doubtful it would be possible. Within just 6 short weeks, Mike helped us find a house of our own that we truly love. He was there for us at every step of the way – explaining the home-​buying process to us in minute detail, meeting us late at night to sign contracts and discuss options, answering any and all questions we might have about any element of the process, and negotiating on our behalf not only with the seller’s agent but also with our landlord and the owner of the house we were renting. He went above and beyond, and we truly felt like we had the best possible person helping us in this stressful, hectic situation. I know it would not have been possible without Mike as our realtor.
Not only is he really good at his job – he knows the Austin market inside and out, he’s an extremely effective negotiator and a very thorough, detail-​oriented person – he is also just a great guy. We really enjoyed spending time with him. We miss him now that we don’t get to see him all the time! And that’s really saying something.

Secondly, he listed to what I wanted and showed me relevant properties on about 10 different occasions. He was always punctual and I never felt like we were wasting our time. Finally, I truly felt I could trust his judgement when it came down to the paperwork and contractual agreements, and believe that our offer was ultimately accepted due to certain tweaks that he suggested to make the offer more appealing.

Michael recently gave me a great tip on a quick and inexpensive way to attract new renters to my commercial kitchen. Brilliant. He has also greatly helped me to clarify my goals and think strategically about my decisions. Mike brings value to the table that goes a lot deeper than just being driven around and having some guy fill out paperwork for you… also I think he has been doing this a long time in Austin, since he seems so knowledgeable about different parts of town.
