How come we can’t tip if we pay with a credit card? It’s convenient but unfair to your servers. Good service and decent fast food otherwise.

I think the quality of this location has declined recently. I’ve had two incidents recently(within the last 2 wks) in which I arrived home to find that my order was incorrect. The first time, I called Sonic customer service and reported that my mustard cheeseburger with bacon had neither mustard nor bacon. They assured me the management would contact me. I received an email, but whenever I tried to call the store manager’s number, it was not a working number. Again, today, I stopped in to pick up some lunch. I ordered the same thing. The service seemed to be unusually slow(even though it was about 2:30 in the afternoon). When I got my order, I asked the server if it was a cheeseburger with bacon, and she said«I think so». I explained briefly that my last order wasn’t correct and she said she hoped this one would be. Unfortunately, that wasn’t adequate. I still found that my burger had no bacon, and it wasn’t even recorded on the ticket(even though it was displayed on the screen as I ordered). Today, also, this location was out of Tater Tots, so I asked for Onion Rings. Unfortunately, although they got that order correct, they were swimming in oil in the paper wrapper. They don’t seem to drain them at all before packaging them to go. I used to have better experiences at this location, but I’m really disappointed now.

Never going here again. Service has always been subpar. They are the slowest Sonic ever. My last visit I was asked, «you know that’s going to be 6 – 8 minutes, right?» when I ordered boneless wings. They usually take as long for a slush even when there are hardly any customers. The google reviews make me wish I never went there. They also said they dont know what their specials are(which seems like something the manager should know to be prepared to provide reasonable customer service).

Horrible service, unprofessional attitude, the kid working gave us 9 straws and we only had 2 drinks, looks like a lack of management at this place. The the fries were old, chicken was nasty. This is my first bad experience at a sonic. Will not be back to this location.

Well, I tried this Sonic, at Hwy 620 and Anderson Mill, one more time! It is the most convenient going home but when will I learn to just go out of my way to find another? I drove through and ordered dinner for 2 of us to split; only a Sonic Super Jalapeño Cheese burger, Large onion rings and Route 44 Vanilla Rootbeer. I did not park and push the Sonic red button, I drove through making it quicker, WRONG. After 15mins, a young man came out and brought me my rootbeer and a coupon for a free shake because I was waiting so long. I questioned what the problem was since it looked like there was a party going on inside with the number of employees, that night. This is not the norm… they usually are short handed. I also told him, that if I did not have my food within 5 mins, I was leaving(I had not paid yet). Well, after 5 mins, I opened the door, left my rootbeer with free shake coupon under it and left. I drove home and proceeded to shoot off an email to Sonic corporate office. So far, all I have received is a standard reply that they have received by email and are checking into it.

I have tried this location a few times. They always seem to be very short staffed. Feel bad for the workers as they are going as fast as they can. But just seems the management can’t keep their employees or something. Unfortunately, this always results in very long wait times at this location. Just don’t go here if you are in a hurry.

Stopped on the way home to grab a drink, have never had such a rude & impatience person take an order! The young guy that brought our order was nice but when I mentioned something the last thing I expected to hear was excuses. I am in the customer service industry(much different capacity) too and you should never make an excuse. Short staffed, stress, ect… that’s part of having a JOB!

I went at 9pm here on a Saturday. My order was fast and correct. If I am near this sonic again then I will return. I had a hot fudge coconut cream pie shake. Yum!

When pulling in, the first thing I noticed is how much this Sonic looks unkept. Many of the menu boards are not lit up. Many of the menu boards are missing parts of the menu. There is trash blowing in the wind throughout the parking lot. As I drinking my strawberry shake I ordered, I think I’m sucking up pieces of bananas too that I didn’t ask for. The guy that brought out our shakes was friendly enough. But watching this other employee changing some of the menu boards smoking doesn’t help.

Pack on the hate. Sonic is nasty. My cousin was obsessed with the drinks for as long as I remember, so I decided to stop by at happy hour(2−4pm errday, yall). When I sit back and think what I just ate, it’s just a pile of(affordable) fried goops. The service is efficient and I like pressing the button, even if to ask for ketchup. They are efficient. So if you liked your fried stuff and efficiency and affordability, go here. Get some tots.

I give this Sonic 5 stars because I ALWAYS encounter a friendly face there. You know sometimes in the food industry, especially fast food, it can be hard for the workers to keep a smile on. This makes excellent customer service stick out. So thank you Sonic for exceeding my expectations of customer service in fast food. With how many fast food workers there are out there that have no shame in making it clear to customers how much they hate their job, it is great to see people who take pride in what they are doing. I will miss visiting this Sonic now that I’m no longer in Austin! Keep it happy!

When I’m in the mod for an indulgent snack, Sonic is the stop for a diet Cherry Limeade and a corn dog. If I feel like being particularly naughty, I might opt for a creamy Shake(made with real ice cream). I’m usually a vanilla girl, but you gotta love the seasonal specials Sonic offers — like the Pumpkin Shake in the fall. And Pineapple or Peanut Butter are at the top of my list as well! Can you say brain freeze?! Service at this location fast and friendly.

It’s Close to my place and generally I get what I pay for but never more, never less. Just fast food. However… I recently went there and I sat at the drive through part for over 10 minutes no one came. So I drove into one of those little stalls and buzzed so they could take my order. I sat there for 5 minutes, no one ever answered so I drove away. Thank you for wasting ½ my lunch hour. Next time I’m in a hurry I will go somewhere else.

Most of the time I come here it either takes forever for them to answer after I’ve pushed the button or takes forever to get me my order(which a majority of the time is just a drink!). It’s right near my house so I only go for convenience but I hope they work on this.

I feel silly writing a review of a fast food joint, but this Sonic really stinks. My orders have always been messed up in some way, the food is greasy and unappetizing, and they charged me full price for drinks during happy hour! Last time I went there(about a month ago), they screwed up my order so bad I called to complain. I was offered a free meal if I mentioned the managers name next time. I have not gone back for that free food. That says alot!
