Exceptional flavor and freshness. Representatives are helpful, patient and kind. Very generous portions in several sizes to suit your hunger or shared plating. Clean and easy to discover and decipher. Really excited to find a place away from home with home grown fresh cooked food that is ready when you are. A must visit. While some items may seem pricey when you consider the convenience and freshness it makes it so worth it. I may never cook again… OK maybe not as often.

Friendly staff at this location. The food is always fresh, tasty and healthy. This is my go-to lunch spot when I am looking for a quick meal in between my work day. One of my favorite meals is the Butternut squash, turkey pasta. It has great flavor with the goat cheese, basil and garlic cloves. I hope they expand their locations around Austin, especially Southwest Austin because I would definitely keep them in business. Thumbs up!

I just want to thank all the amazing people at the snap kitchen on Farwest in Austin, Tx. I was just told by my doctor I am one step away from being diabetic and when I talk to the people at the snap kitchen they not only give me nutritional advice they explain in detail why what I’m buying is good for me and all the benefits I will get from them. I fell in love with the green monkey bread fruit shake, and today I tried the Chai Cashew Milkshake and no joke it tasted better than any chocolate shake I’ve ever had. So I just want to give a big shout out to the manager Nikki and the nutritionist there Lindsay. Anyway they are great people who actually seem to care and they have help me get on the right nutritional path. So once again thanks to everyone who works there and I highly suggest if you’re struggling with diet talk to the great people at the Snap Kitchen they will show the way.

Snap Kitchen is just the place I have been looking for. I love to cook and I often do at least 4 – 5 nights a week, but lunch is something I struggle with. I like to eat light at breakfast and lunch and save my bigger meal for dinner, so it can be hard to find lunches of variety, that taste great, and yet still stay under a certain calorie range. Snap offers food for all types of diets like vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, low sodium, and even paleo to name a few. I don’t have any diet restrictions myself but I do appreciate the calories clearly labeled on every package. All of their containers are dishwasher and microwave safe, and are also BPA free. They are a bit pricy here, but I don’t feel it’s unreasonable and also remember that you are paying for higher quality ingredients than say your frozen section’s lean cuisine meal. They make it as easy for you as possible too by offering curbside pickup if you are in a hurry, a free loyalty program that gives you rewards towards money off future meals, and also clearly printing the heating times and instructions on each meal. I got one breakfast, a lunch, and two snacks to test it out. The staff were super helpful and kind here, even giving me one of my items for free when I told them it was my first visit. The first thing I tried was the maple roasted banana oatmeal with flax seeds(it’s $ 5.25 for a small, $ 8.50 for a medium). I got the medium and it was a huge portion. The small would have been perfect for me. Verdict? Good. It was a tad dry for my taste, I am pro creamy oats, but when I doctored it with a little sugar free maple syrup it was a-ok. For lunch I got the grilled kale hoppin’ John which had cumin scented kale, brown rice, black beans, toasted pumpkin seeds, and roasted sweet potatoes. It comes in one size for $ 5.25. I loved this dish! I would definitely get it again, it was delicious. The two snacks I got were the war bar and the Thai chickpea snack for my husband. He inhaled his and the war bar I had was scrumptious and filling. I predict many more trips to Snap kitchen in my future! It will be especially great on nights my husband is traveling for work and I am scratching my head figuring out what to cook for just me.

My love for this place is indescribable! It is so convenient to be able to just stop by and pick up a healthy meal or snack! I would recommend the veggie lasagna, any of the flat breads and the gluten free brownies!

Absolutely love Snap Kitchen. The food seems fresher and healthier than My Fit Foods and they have some great entrees. The chicken burger salad is amazing despite the name and I love their almond crusted chicken fingers!

I love Snap Kitchen! Healthy meals with no effort = awesome! Way more flavor than My Fit Foods. Wish Snap was the one who got into HEB. Try the Veggie Lasagna or the Scottish Salmon.

Went in to pick out some meals for a friend. The lady at the counter was super helpful and guided me through the best choices. I didn’t want to bring her yet another casserole or gigantic fruit salad, but wanted to be sure she was eating healthful food options. — Beef and sweet potato purée — Chicken/butternut squash — Turkey meatloaf. Lots of appealing options that make for grab and go meals. The meals come in two sizes, so green for petite appetites and orange for the really hungry. If you select meals that require heating, there is no tax. Grab and go items: cookies, salads etc are taxed like any other take out/fast food items. It all looked so great I picked up some options for kiddo, he likes to have«real meals» at lunch. and I am competing with all those unhealthy options that seem to creep into school. So, Fight the cheesy puffs, and go snap kitchen!

Many thanks to all of the wonderful young women and men who have helped me at Snap Kitchen over the last three weeks while my broken ankle bone has been healing! The food is great(especially the Salmon Chimichurri)! It is healthy and tasty and so convenient! The service is also unbeatable! Now that I am a regular customer(and still on crutches), they quickly come out to my car to help me before I even call them. YOUHAVEALLBEENWONDERFUL! THANKYOU! And most importantly, not only have I not gained weight during this time of being immobile, but I have actually lost weight. Who would have thought! I really owe it to the satisfying food and great help. Since I cook a lot myself, I might not have even discovered them if I hadn’t broken a bone. And here you are right in my neighborhood! I am a customer for life!

After on and off again visits to Snap Kitchen for a healthy and often cheaper alternative to take out I decided to dive in and take the Snap 21 day challenge. I’m recently engaged and will be wedding dress shopping in June and unlike most girls where once that ring is on her finger, the crazed diets begin. Not me. I needed something long term and more of a ‘forced’ motivation. The 21 days went by so fast and the food was fantastic! Each day of the challenge consists of 3 meals and 2 snacks and out of the 105 different items that I ate over the course of the 21 days only 3 – 4 items I didn’t really care for. The whole program is very flexible. If you know ahead of time that you were going to have dinner plans one night or if you didn’t care for an item on the menu, the Snap team will remove or substitute items to your liking. I’ve compared the food to My Fit Foods and I have to say the meals here are better. Everything is expertly seasoned and very tasty! Overall, I lost right at 7lbs without working out and still continue to grab some of my favs for lunch or dinner. If you stick to the plan, weight loss is a given!

Ah Snap Kitchen. I hear your ads on the radio. I hear my friends raving about you all the time. In my mind, I say to myself. Surely I can’t afford to be eating here all the time right? Wrong. I’ve ordered four dishes from here and most have them have been reasonably priced between 7 to 11 dollars. The dishes all come packed in a green BPA-free plastic container that can be re-used. You have to loosen the container before heating up the dish in the microwave. The sticker on each dish contains the heating instructions. This food is pretty fresh so it only takes between a minute or two to heat up. It’s great for quick meals. Crispy Scottish Salmon — This has been my favorite dish so far. Almond crusted salmon on top of roasted carrots and zucchini. You think healthy food would be bland, I was pleasantly surprised with this dish. The entire salmon piece was covered in almonds. Perhaps too many, but it was still delicious. Naked Beef — The beef was very juicy and cooked to medium temperature. The snap peas had a great crunch to them as well. My only disappointment was the cauliflower. It was almost too peppery or spicy. I will have to try it again to see if it was just roasted too far. Turkey Chili — perfect lunch dish for the cold weather we have had in Austin lately. This isn’t a pansy chili either. It still has a bit of kick to it. The only complaint is the raw onions sprinkled on top of the chili. When I cook chili, the onions have to cook along with everything. The raw onion taste was a bit much. Overall, the dish was hearty and fulfilling on this cold day. Crispy Chicken — see the review of the salmon dish. It’s almost the same, except it is pre-sliced like the beef dish. The instructions give a time to warm it. I had to slightly adjust the times upwards by 15 seconds for my smaller microwave. The service is hit and miss since this isn’t a main location. I would like to be reminded to use my loyalty card. That’s all. Overall, it’s a great option for healthy fast meals.

Snap makes healthy eating easy and convenient. They offer juice cleanses, paleo style, vegetarian, diabetic friendly, gluten free, nondairy, carb conscious and sodium conscious food options. Some of the offerings are seasonal so my favorite menu items change. Currently my go to items are the easy greens juice, chili and eggs, spinach and goat cheese scramble, quinoa«fried rice», Tuscan kale snack, devily eggs and herbed quinoa«mac & cheese» . I recently did their fresh start one day juice cleanse consisting of 6 different containers of 16 ounce juices. Compared to other similar juices I have tried I find Snap’s a little earthier and less sweet. You drink a juice every 2 – 3 hours finishing off with a delicious cashew shake. While I do prefer the flavor of juices at a few other places I tend to pick up a couple juices now and then from Snap because unlike those other places they label their nutritional information. While I love Snap Kitchen this location is lacking in comparison. The other Austin area locations seem to have more variety food wise(two items I stopped in for were not available). Also while they do have a microwave for you to warm up food there is no where to sit. With that said I appreciate the quick and healthy options and it is a good place to grab something to go.

This location is a small express version of their other Austin locations. They have all the same great food, just geared towards takeaway, as there is only one lonely table outside, and a mini microwave available for heating up your food. All the food comes in fresh from their Triangle location. The store is bright clean, and simple. The staff were extremely friendly, and were very patient with all my annoying questions. I love that you can read on the sign were the current food selection is sourced from locally. There are breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Also, there are a variety of snacks and drinks to choose from. You can easily read all the ingredients on the packaging, there are different sizes available, small, medium and large, and there are logos to quickly identify foods for certain dietary types. Also very cool that the packaging is microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. I am going to try and reuse them to see how long they last. The prices are a bit more expensive then other takeaway, but then, you are guaranteed in most cases fresh and local. I tried the almond crusted goat cheese salad, and the chimichurri Salmon. Both tasted fantastic cold. The sauce on the salmon had a much larger kick to it then I expected. The dried mango is AMAZING! I guess it goes fast, and they have a hard time keeping it on the shelves. I just got a fresh package as it was being put out. I loved that it had no extra sugar, it was just the dried fruit itself. Yummy. They had some samples of their nut and fruit mixes, which were also good. I picked up a loyalty card, and will definitely be back to check out the other great options here. So excited that it is so close to my house. Will be a great option for when I am running late, and don’t have time to make myself dinner.

Slowly, each location that opened in north Austin resulted in a shorter drive. Now, because of this location, I can walk to Snap Kitchen. My favorite snack is the Devily Eggs which is two eggs and sliced in half and filled with their piquant hummus with a jalapeño punch. The tofu spring rolls are a bit more filling, but don’t last too long in the frig. I highly recommend eating those the day you pick them up. The salads are simple but what makes them noteworthy is that they put thought into flavor combination of ingredients and the salad dressings are much better than expected. The Spicy Jungle Beef has a Sriracha dressing that does burn the mouth, so watch out. The seared tuna is prepared well, but again, be sure to eat it soon after you purchase it. In fact, for pretty much everything, remember to eat it by the date on the container. I thought my Scottish Salmon salad would last an extra day, but only the fish did(the jicama became slimy and the apple became brown). It had been a while, so I slowly browsed and read a lot of ingredient lists. Because of the paleo diet being the favorite in town, most of the meals cater to those who want meat and more meat. The few veggie dishes I picked up were tasty and much more filling than I expected. I really had to hunt for lower-fat items. Other than organizing based on meal, salad, snack, breakfast, and so on, it was difficult to see which ones were gluten-free or dairy free. I really want more meat-free and gluten-free options. I realize it is complicated to meet everyone’s needs. Visiting their web site before going to the store helps; the site is easy to navigate and the nutritional information pops up and is huge(smart idea). However, they don’t always have certain meals in stock. A new-to-me offering is the to-go juices. Yum! The Super Greens is a great balance of good leafy things. Usually, I hate a Green juice that is pre-made because the parsley is overpowering, but I could taste the cucumber and celery. The Carrot Ginger just has a hint of ginger and was really easy to drink. The Antioxidants was my favorite tasting of the three. While this location is small, it is great for speedy pick up.
