«Where bureaucracy and food service meet». –And the synergy is bad.
The service here is geared toward the comfort and convenience of the workers not the customers.
While they warm their tortillas on the flat top, and then assemble the tacos by hand from a selection of precooked ingredients, you have no control over the combinations in your taco. What’s posted as available, is what’s posted as available.
You want bacon on your «egg and potato» taco? nope sorry, bacon is only available in the plain «Bacon and egg» taco. Not to mention their eggs taste a bit like week old Easter eggs. The eggs for the «bacon and egg» are all mixed up in advance-​hence they can’t put bacon on anything else. What a wasted opportunity! Not to mention all of the under-​cooked fatty ends of the bacon just blend in the eggs and go unnoticed – gross.
Also the service is rather cold and unwelcoming. I feel more like an annoyance to their system then a customer.
Save yourself the frustration (as I should have done) and just stop by Taco Deli, Taco Shack, Mi Madres or even Torchy’s.
Wow, what someone like Taco Deli could do in this spot.

Super rude service for subpar food. There is an older lady who works there who is super cranky. Someone else took my order, and then she walks over and starts ringing me up without saying a word to me, so I have no idea if she is logging into the register or not due to them just opening and then I present my Hooked app. She then looks at me like «really, you’re going to make me re-​ring this up» and says «wish you would have told me before I rung you up.» Um excuse me, I’m not going to pay almost $ 2 more because you’re too lazy to re-​ring me up, and next time how about saying «Hello, good morning, did you order a … & ???» so that I know you’re ringing me up.

This place is so gross! I got a pulled pork sandwich. The meat was really dry and the bun was frozen and soggy in the middle. Not to mention the fact that the cook was walking around with a fly swatter killing flies all over the restaurant while my friend and I were eating. The place was filthy and really dark. We ended up tossing the food and leaving. DO NOT go here.

Wow. I know that they expect students to not have any idea what good food is but DAMN. this place has to have the worst bbq I’ve ever tasted. even the wanna-​be BBQ in Europe is better than this crap. I got the chopped beef sandwich and lets just say that it should have been called the dry beef jerky sandwich. All the beef was as dry as grandma jennings and as chewy as my dog’s rawhide. In fact I think my gums are bleeding from eating this bark-​like sandwich.
