Many thanks to Lily W for putting together this intimate UYE for 7, and once again introducing us White folks to another great Szechuan joint! Lily knows her stuff — and watching her order in Cantonese is always so interesting and impressive — because the typically outspoken hot mama turns slightly demure and has such mad skills. :)
Great food, totally awesome people, a true family style dining experience! What a perfect way to end a Sunday and set the mood for the upcoming week. Yes, please, let’s do this again soon! Oh, and «rice it up!» Hey, you had to be there! ;)

I want to thank Joe, Jen, Courtney, John, Dawn, and Rob for coming to this event! It made for some hilarious conversation over delicious eats!
I’ve been diligently searching for a place to replace Szechuan House and I think this is it! The dishes are all really good. It definitely seems like this place has my usual crew’s approval and hopefully they all had as much fun as I did.
A note is that this place isn’t BYOB so order up a Qingdao and for some riveting details check out my review of the restaurant: D
