Poor management. My experience is they really don’t care about their customers.

My back came back to life after three weeks with Heather! =). She is awesome and showed me various exercise techniques that began to strengthen my core. The facility was always clean and never crowded/overbooked. I am saddened that I had to temporarily stop physical therapy(due to insurance purposes). But on the bright side, thanks to Select Physical Therapy, at least I now know that the possibility of mending my lower back is not a lost cause. I look forward to more physical therapy approved sessions so that I may be healed indefinitely! Hopefully they have one in Florida.

I injured my back and neck after a visit to my dr I was sent to PT. I wasn’t really looking forward to that as in the past — PT has really been miserable. No so this time — I loved everyone here. I had therapy for several weeks and got to work with more than one therapist there. They were all friendly and all really listened to where my pain was and kept track of me while I was working. About three quarters of my time was one on one and the other was during my warm up when the therapist would set up other patients. I always felt like I had enough attention and help. On each visit I had a little massage or other body work done and had exercises to do. I was never in a lot of pain here. Things were sometimes uncomfortable but nothing like I have experienced elsewhere. Each time we talked about my home program and added items as I progressed. As my problems are chronic, I know I might well have issues in the future. Now I have a plan for when I start hurting again. All of the therapists I worked with answered all my questions in detail — and did it with a smile. We even talked about how this pain was affecting my life and came up with solutions for things like — getting some sleep and getting in and out of cars etc. Lastly — The hours are great — I could go after work and on Saturday so that helped me tremendously.

The worst — and I’ve been to three PTs. Decided to come here since it is covered by BCBS and my old place is not. PT is assembly-line, where the PT puts you in a machine for five minutes so she can go check on other PT patients or so she can chat with her colleagues. Yes, you will not receive personalized attention; you will be one of many patients. I never received a home program even though I asked repeatedly for one. Dropped Select and went back to my non-BCBS PT provider, which ended up being less expensive in the long run since she provided a detailed home program which required less visits and less money spent overall. Plus the PT missed the fact that some of my knee problems are caused by my bad feet, something my orthopaedist had noted. The PT only gave my file a cursory glance. When I returned to my former PT, she noticed my feet-knees interaction immediately. St. David’s is my third PT for another injury. Very good, but difficult to get an appointment.

I don’t have experience with other physical therapy places, but I have to say I have been very happy with my sessions here. I have worked with 3 therapists and I have liked all of them. They do water therapy, too. They have late hours so I am able to go after work, which is very helpful. The billing has been accurate and I have not had to follow up on claims, which can be very frustrating.
