I called to make a new patient appointment and gave all my information to verify insurance to Cynthia. She later called me back saying I didn’t have it and to call my insurance company to talk to them. After calling my insurance 3 times to verify everything was correct, she still said it was wrong, even though I got the feeling that she only tried once. I repeated my info to make sure she wrote it right, but instead of saying she made a mistake, she told me that I told her my birthday wrong. She even got me to have my HR dept call her and she still was focused on her one wrong attempt at verifying. I later got an appt with another dentist easy in 5 min. and wasted my whole morning with her. I don’t know about the dentist, but the customer service alone makes me think negatively about the place.

I hate going to the dentist. Hate. All stemming from the time I was 13 and had to get a root canal. I had to keep going back every two weeks or something and those mean hygienists would stuff that needle into my gums and it HURT. From the moment I stepped into Dr. Schrader’s office I knew it would be different. There aren’t a million people in the lobby waiting for their turn. All of his chairs aren’t filled up with people while he runs to each one and to quickly assess the problems. No. He spends time with you and talks to you about any problems you may have. He asks about your day, your life and your health. He may gently reprimand you for not flossing, but we’re supposed to floss dangit! If you can change dentists, you should. This guy and Cynthia, his wife, are just amazing people that will put you at ease.
