Good, quick pizza by the slice. My son had straight cheese and though it was amazing. I had a veggie slice that tasted good but was unfortunately soggy. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This spot was awesome! The pizza was amazing. It looks really small from the front area, but if you keep walking back there is a huge 3 level bar and dining area. This spot is great for watching games and kicking back. Very quick service. And friendly staff.

I get a slice of pizza here on my lunch break just about every day. It’s incredible — I definitely recommend getting pepperoni/sausage — and I love the atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly! Price for a slice is a bit steep, but the close proximity to my job downtown makes it quite worth it.

This place saves lives downtown. If you’re out with your friends on Sixth and need a boost, stop here and grab a slice. It will taste heavenly because it is 3am and you are starving. I give them 4 stars for convenience, location(bless you), and for just existing. Now that my college days are coming to a close, I will fondly look back on my times spent here at Roppolo’s with joy.

Looking for food open on a Saturday afternoon close to the Capitol? Good luck! Most«fast» food places are closed pretty early on the weekends. We were looking for something fast because we had a duck tour scheduled soon. We found this place and thought why not. My group ate pretty good for cheap. The pizza was actually not bad to my surprise. And free refills for dine in. Seating was limited downstairs but if you go upstairs there was more seating with a good view of the big screen tv. I like that they stay open late. That’s a smart business specially being on 6th street.

I love this place. yes drunk food, completely agree it hits the spot after a long night of drinking. However, I enjoy this pizza sober! It’s so cheap, they have delicious toppings to choose from. I can only eat one, but I wish I could eat an entire pie since I don’t come to Austin too often. A friend even knew how much I love Roppolo’s that when I was in San Marcos, and he would drive from Austin to San Antonio, he will always bring me a pie. I was a very happy girl.

Giant speciality pizza was fantastic! Great staff. I know where I’ll get pizza next time I’m in Austin — Maybe best leftover pizza ever!

By the slice New York walk up style pizza that is good for any style. Staff was friendly and helped with suggestions on which pie was freshest/best. Well done.

Yummy Yummy, get in my Tummy!!! We stopped in here last Saturday after 10pm. The line was out the door but we got our pizzas quickly. We tried the pepperoni pizza, and pepperoni with bacon which was really good. The slices are big and the prices are cheap! A great way to end a bar hopping night.

Some friends and I came here around 10pm on a Thursday after waiting almost an hour for pizza that never came at Gino’s down the street. They said they made us the wrong pizza and if we wanted the toppings we actually ordered, it would be another 25 minutes(making our total waiting time almost an hour and a half, FORONEPIZZA!). So we left, of course, and found this place just down the street. I just moved here and figuring out where the good food is has been a goal. We ordered a few slices, they were ready in just a couple minutes. The quality was awesome! I’m coming from Chicago where pizza is a huge deal, and competition is rough. But I loved the pizza here, the sauce and the sausage were especially tasty, they had a very homemade flavor. I also want to remark on the staff. Every single person that helped us here, every person we chatted with was nothing short of super nice. Everyone was very friendly! The prices were awesome, the quality was amazing, and the staff will keep me coming back. They even have a back patio and an upstairs with huge TVs!

Pizza is reheated before served and hardly edible. Wouldn’t recommend at all. The only good thing is the price for a slice, but apparently you get what ya pay for. Might be a little more appetizing after 6 or 8 drinks, but we ate before we started drinking.

Delicious pizza place on 6th street. Quick service, very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and decent prices. I had the pepperoni and bacon pizza and it did not disappoint. The crust is the perfect blend of crunchy and soft. Fresh toppings and a good pizza sauce. The slices are big and hearty.

Great little pizza find in Austin for a perfect stop in between bar hopping. Buy by the slice or order an entire pie. We picked up a few slices of cheese pizza and they were exactly what we needed to continue on our Austin bar quest. Head to the back of the restaurant and their is great seating with a lovely bar tender… because you need beer with your pizza. Beer selection is so-so but if you just need that lawn mower type beer to go along with your pizza, you are set!

I was visiting from Los Angeles and went to Austin Texas this past summer, and I was craving some pizza.(I had enough Texas BBQ) A friend of mine had highly recommend Roppolo’s Pizza. I’m a snob when it comes to Pizza, Living in Los Angeles I have my few favorite places. ROPPOLO’S raises the bar! Best DAMN pizza I’ve ever had! Very flavorful. It had a delicious garlic kick to it… Great service, reasonable prices, delicious pizza! The reason why I’m giving 4 stars, is there’s no Roppolo’s in Los Angeles… Hey Roppolo, if you ever open a Pizzeria here in LA, please let me know and I’ll immediately upgrade the 4 star to 5… Your the reason, why I have to fly out«Deep in the Heart of TEXAS» Yippie Kai Yay!!! Pizza so goo, make you wanna smack your mamma!

Stumbled into this place late at night. Was more or less empty, but that was a nice change of pace considering the chaos of 6th st. I ordered a slice of the margarita pizza. It was very good – nothing mindblowing. We spent the next hour in the back room bar hanging out with the bartender. She was a great conversationalist and kept us a float. Overall, a cool place with good pizza and a really nice bar room.

This is Austin’s stellar example of drunchies. They recently started running some Groupons which we have heartily taken advantage of. A 22″ specialty pizza feeds a BIG crowd! Great for football and all that. Huge portions, perfectly tasty pizza. Very greasy and will wreck your guts but tastes good and will absorb your alcoholic mistakes(in part). Tastes great cold in the morning too. The staff is very nice and always accommodating. We enjoy hanging in the back with some beers while they make our pie. Comfortable and surprisingly clean for its location. Not the best pizza in Austin but worth consideration if you’re in the area and need something in a pinch.

Nothing like a big ol’ delicious slice of pizza after a long night of partying! This place always has a good amount of people waiting to get their fix. I can definitely see why. It is Deeelicious! And the slices are HUGE. There have several different options for you to choose from. For the size, they are reasonably priced. There is a long counter inside if you choose to hang out and eat there before you go on with the partying. Most people I see take to go and eat it on their way to another bar. The staff is great. I will most certainly come back for more :)

If you need late night drunk food, this is the place. No, they don’t have wonderful pizza. It’s not especially wonderful stuff. But for these guys, it’s location, location, location. They’re right on Sixth Street, where all the action is. There are plenty of places for late night grub along Sixth Street, and this is an alright choice. The guy is fast, he loads the pizza into a heating machine that warms your slice. It’s ready in a few minutes. There’s a few varieties to choose from usually, unless you want to hang around and wait for a custom made one made from scratch.

There were 2 pizza places right across each other and this place had the longest line while the other place was empty. Decided to wait in the longer like to see what the fuss was about. I came here the last weekend of May so school is not in session so the line was long but probably not as long as it usually is. Waited in line maybe 15 minutes? All the locals told us best pizza joint that was open late(2am). My boyfriend got a supreme and I got a vegetable pizza. Both were delicious, the vegetable pizza blew my mind! Pizzas were flavorful. When I come back to 6th street I’ll be getting their pizzas again!

Came to Austin for the first time and fell on love… With this pizza of course! Walking down 6th street at 2 a.m. And I found heaven in a huge slice of pepperoni pizza! Yummy! The group of us bought a huge pizza for about $ 22. Had 8 enormous slices! One slice is enough for most! The pizza was not greasy as I expected it to be. The best part was the crust and the fact it was gluten-free! I don’t follow a gluten-free diet, but of course it doesn’t hurt. The bread was soft and the taste was delicious! You could taste the grains in the bread and it was the perfect texture! The cheese was perfect! It was melted and cheesy… But not soggy! So, needless to say, before heading home, I stopped my the shop off of 6th and picked up a box to being back! I know where I wk be going next time I go to Austin and crave a slice of heaven!
