Trusting someone with hair is one thing trusting someone with my curly hair is another thing entirely and Clarissa is the person to trust not only did her studio make me feel comfortable but also beautiful she gave me the exact end result for the look I was going for. I have received many compliments due to her work. This is the place to go for your salon needs!

As a curly-​girl, I am always searching for someone who takes the time to understand my hair and is knowledgable about curly hair. I went to Roots for the first time a few months ago, and loved it! Clarissa was so kind, professional, and thorough. I got a great cut and color (and a great price as a first time client, and she even cut me more of a break for being a poor graduate student!) I have definitely found my curly-​hair stylist for the rest of my time in Austin.
