Recently my father-​in-​law gave me a beautiful loose star sapphire. All I knew is I wanted it set in a ring. I had heard good things about Ricky and I always prefer to support local businesses. Ricky made me a gorgeous ring that I love. He worked with me and made sure I was completely satisfied. He is honest, kind and talented. I highly recommend him!

I’ve used their services twice, repair and manufacturing. The repair was excellent and the redesign on an existing ring was artful and well executed. Very pleased. The staff is a pleasure to work with. They actually listen to the customer and follow through.

I bought a 1.72 ct diamond ring for my fiancée then my beautiful wife now overseas. But when I put it in her finger it was a bit tight. I exactly measured her finger and went to Ricky. He adjusted the size and you can’t even tell. I am actually going back today to get earrings done for wifey. The service is excellent, I love it.

Brought in a 20 dollar watch for a battery. He charged me 17 bucks. lol
Last jewelry shop gave it to me free. Not a friendly vibe. Wont be back or recommend.

Mr. Wilson and his staff are definitely top shelf. I had my wedding ring sized, because for some reason the gold shrunk after 40 years ;-), and my wife had her wedding rings repaired. Mine was fairly straight forward and they did a great job. My wife’s rings were quite a bit more challenging, however when we picked them up they actually looked better than new. Just amazingly beautiful work. He even finished everything ahead of the estimated time and the price was very, very fair. Any other jewelry work we have will be taken here!

He can do anything you ask for. He once made me a beautiful silver bracelet out of two huge earrings i bought at a thrift store. I trust him totally. So much I ship my jewelry to him from colorado (I moved)

It’s nice to know that the customer does come first and there are people out there who just want to provide outstanding service. We came across Ricky Wilson when my boyfriend’s watch needed a new battery. We went to a jewelry shop located on Anderson Lane and they said it would cost $ 50. That seemed a bit high to me. I had remembered seeing Ricky Wilson when going to the Crestview IGA. We headed over there and rang the doorbell.
Within minutes we had a new watch battery, we did use our Austin Go Local card, and were out less than $ 10. I’ve returned several times for new watch batteries and they recently, free of charge, helped me get a charm onto a necklace chain. All they asked in return was, «Visit us when you need jewelry.»
I don’t own a lot of jewelry but if I’m ever in a place to purchase something, I will definitely give Ricky Wilson my business.

Two of the prongs on my antique engagement ring broke & the center stone had fallen out. I took the stone & the ring to Ricky Wilson & he said it would be no problem to replace the setting. Service was extremely fast, especially considering this was right before Thanksgiving. When I went to pick up the ring, I was extremely happy with the result. The setting he used looks like it has always been a part of the ring & because he polished it, it looked brand new! He told me to bring back the ring if I have any problems because he stands by all the work he does. I’m so glad I used this shop & will definitely use them in the future for any other jewelry repair I need. Please visit them if you want excellent service at a great price, all while supporting a local business!

I came here to get a very delicate ring resized. It was a gift and a size too small. I feared no jeweler would be able to fix it without thickening the band, since the band is about 20 gauge. However, Ricky made it fit and look good as new. I’m very pleased. My boyfriend also got his watch adjusted here and said their rates are quite reasonable.
They have a cool selection of gemstones too!

How have I not written a review for Ricky yet? He is absolutely amazing. He’s honest and keeps my jewelry in top notch condition. Jewelry needs to be maintained like anything else.
I recently had him make a custom piece for my mother’s 60^th bday. It came out beautifully and I feel like I got a really fair deal on price.

I gotta give Ricky some praise here. He does what he loves and loves what he does and isn’t interested in ripping people off. You should especially see him if you want to have something custom made.

Ricky replaced a missing stone in a family heirloom vintage ring I had. I had gotten a quote of $ 200 from several other places to put in a ¹⁄₁₀ c. (itty bitty) stone in this ring. Ricky was able to get the stone, install it, and repair warped prongs for $ 150. He was friendly and informative, and the jewelry on display in the store is beautiful. I also love supporting a small business owner in my neighborhood. Because I trust his work and his pricing, I’m about to have him turn the stones in another ring of mine into a necklace.

Ricky took a very «dated» ring with gold, diamonds and rubies and made me a beautiful, modern band exactly the way I imagined it would look. Price was reasonable, he was easy to work with and I am very pleased with the ring. I also really like supporting someone in our neighborhood.

I trusted Ricky Wilson to have my mom’s wedding ring dipped in platinum. It is the only heirloom that I have, so it was indeed a cautious endeavor.
The ring looks great, the pricing was really competitive, and Rick is super nice and knowledgeable.
