I rarely have to go to a supply store because we have a rep. come to the salon every Tuesday. When I do need a color or product that we don’t carry at the salon I always look to the staff at these supply stores to be knowledgeable of the products they sell. I have never been disappointed at RDA. The sales associates have answers to all of my questions and actually make recommendations when I have doubts. I love having an alternative place to get things I need.

I came back here because my school has me blowing through mannequins, and RDA sells really cute clips. They don’t carry mannequins at this location (the Wells Branch one has them though) but they can send them over from the other store, which totally works. I’m obviously a poor student, so when the woman working called the Wells Branch store, she made sure to tell me the prices. She winced at their first suggestion, then asked me if it was alright or if I’d like a less expensive one, and got them to send a different one for half of the price. Afterwards, she took the time to answer a few questions I had about beauty school, what she’d heard, what she knew, that sort of thing. It was good to have someone talk to me, besides instructors, about what to possibly expect out of the program. I kind of want to adopt her.

Esthetician’s beware! This location refused to sell me certain products due to «the owner’s policy» which discriminated against an esthetician’s license and the purchasing of hair color! REALLY…
I have had an esthetician’s license for years and have been a client ALL over Texas at RDA locations and have never been denied the ability to make a purchase. My, the door says «licensed customers,» right? I am sure that the State of Texas considers my well earned license as valuable as another cosmetology license. Oh, right, the owner can set their own policy.
Well, esthetician’s, beware of unfair policies. You can go to Houston, Rockwall, Waco, The Woodlands, etc., and many other cities in TX and make your purchases.

This is my local Beauty Supply Store. I come here at least 3 – 4 times a month and every time I just love the girls there. I went once for Pravana Vivids Silver and this location was out so one of the girls took it upon themselves to call a different location and put it aside for me at that store. They are lovely people and I will continue to give my business here.
