Qdoba is a more authentic take on the chipotle style, awesome food, killer portions, typically fast staff. A++ location! Only bad thing is the parking situation. Pro-tip, after 6pm is free at all PUBLIC meters. It’s right across from starbucks, so one could always grab some coffee and some food and enjoy the free wifi.

In terms of chicken burrito, this place is as good as the Chipotle on the Drag if not better. Guac is free(but the burrito itself is a little bit more expensive).

Love this place, uniform quality and no upcharges for guac and melty queso. Lots of options, my personal favorite is the shredded beef. They got super good deals on the Hooked and Tastebud apps, plus bogo tuesday which if you are on a budget like myself, you will want to take advantage of. Happy munching. Ps. I love qdoba forever

I ordered a steak taco salad and it was just steak and lettuce in a stale taco shell. That’s it. Steak. lettuce. Stale bowl. $ 11.00+ dollars. Never again.

BLEH! There’s simply no reason to come here with so much other Mexican food around. Even Chipotle is better, but for a quick burrito you really should be going to Cabo Bob’s. A lot of Qdoba’s food, like the rice, doesn’t even taste Mexican.

Get this order. If you like good food, you will like this. «3-Cheese Nachos» (Get the chips on the side) — Ground beef(I’m sure chicken would be good too if you don’t eat beef) — Black beans — Pico de gallo — Roasted chile corn salsa — Salsa roja(on the side)(optional) — Fiery habanero salsa(on the side)(optional) — Shredded cheese — Sour cream — Guac(IT’S FREETOADD) Enjoy! :)

Short Review : –Underrated due to ridiculous expectations –Good in the right situation –Food can be a bit sketch late at night or during low activity hours –Queso is very popular –Butthurt chipotle fans talk this place down –Recently changed prices to accommodate their making guacamole free –Good for a quick bite –Features outdoor seating Narrative Review : It is a crying shame that the rating of this establishment has been raided by butthurt Chipotle fans dishing out empty criticisms such as «the food is not properly assembled» or «the ingredients are not to my liking». First of all, if you can manage to do so considering your anal cavities are in severe pain, I ask you to look at Qdoba’s page on Unilocal. They are one $ out of 4. That means their price range is under 10 $, and their ingredients will have to be undercut to fulfill profitability. I am terribly sorry that they cannot afford to give you grass fed beef, organic lettuce, fresh out of the oven chips, and a pat on the head. To be fair, however, the food isn’t the best. But it’s good. Especially the queso. Listen here boys and girls, you don’t go to this restaurant for gourmet 5-star meals and kisses on the cheek, you go here because you need a quick bite to eat. From my experience, the workers wrapped my burrito lightning-quick, and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes or less(this includes my eating time). They’ve recently made a few changes to their menu, and I didn’t really get a good look at it but there’s probably some cool stuff there I just know what I like. In the grand scheme of things, I think this place and Chipotle are equal in quality, but each have their respective strengths and weaknesses. Important side-note: they’ve made some changes and I will be writing another review to analyze those changes. Another important side note: Look up «chow chow puppies» on Google they are too cute.

Typical Qdoba but nothing impressive. The amenities are nice here but I am not the biggest fan of Qdoba. I still prefer Freebirds or Chipotle any day.

I am a die hard Chipotle fan, but that may have just changed. I tried Qdoba for the first time the other day and I have been back everyday since! Totally hooked! Their rice is better, the ratio of ingredients is better, and guac is not extra! QDOBA! Get on over there!

Great place for a quick lunch for a burrito or great quesadilla! Also, you’ve got to try the queso! It’s delicious! Great option for college students!

I had never been to Qdoba before, which is strange since I try to visit most places, I actually didn’t even know anything about it, besides being Mexican food. I actually thought it was sit-down not quick service. I ordered a quesadilla. And I was surprised by the size of tortilla it was on: giant. I had beans, veggies, picco, and the most important ingredient: cheese. And, my, there was a lot of cheese, which made me happy. The flavor was quite good too, I need to remember I don’t really like picco but besides that it was good. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was oddly quiet for the location. Overall, good first visit Qdoba.

BURRITOBOWLSARESOGOOD! I love this place! Their Guac isn’t too bad either. Plus they take Bevo Bucks! They are also one of the few places near campus that stay open past 12!

I’ve always thought qdoba was nothing special until the other day when my friend recommended their queso. I grabbed some to go and thoroughly enjoyed it! They also gave me a bag of extra chips(score!) and it was so so good! I’m not proud of it but I may or may not have stopped by to grab more for the next two days…

EH. Only worth it for the free burrito or other coupon offers. It’s nice that it’s open late though(until 3AM, I think?). All the ingredients taste pretty mediocre, wish the rice was softer and fluffier. I do like the queso though.

Sooo, Qdoba gave away free burritos today for back to school. Just for that. 4 stars! haha. now onto the burrito I got. It really wasn’t that bad at all, I don’t see why the ratings are super low. It may not be Chipotle or Freebirds, but it’s filling and great for a quick bite. Mine wasn’t tasteless or anything, the steak was seasoned well(just a tad salty), but other than that it was good. The line was out the back and around the corner by the time they started and boy were they moving fast. Anyway, thanks for the free burrito Qdoba, definitely helped to get your name out there.

It seems like nothing beats Chipotle for me. My BF actually prefers Qdoba over Chipotle! «gasps». I think it’s only because of the queso though. I only tried the chicken taco salad with the shell and it was okay. The salad was bland for me even though I put the ranch, the black beans, pico, and corn salsa. I should have added salsa for a kick. They use iceberg lettuce here… meh. Save yourself the calories and don’t get the taco shell. Tasteless and a tad greasy. To get to their bathroom you have to ask an employee for the code. Why would you lock the bathrooms like that?

This Qdoba is horrendous. Going here has made me appreciate the Qdoba back where I’m from in VA. The burritos tasted like trash. Go to chipotle, save yourself. Oh, and the service… heh, don’t get me started. The tall skinny white guy with the facial hair is the rudest employee I’ve ever met and the girl that works at the front line is sassy as hell. Both are really rude. Terrible workers, worst customer service since I’ve been to Austin.

So, the only reason why a friend dragged me to eat over here was to use his buy one meal get one meal free coupon. If you eat here, you better rack up a whole bunch of these coupons, go with a friend and take turns paying for each other. Anyways the tacos I ordered were tiny like the breakfast tacos from Jester. Lets just say I just ate here last week and I can’t remember anything memorable about the tacos. The Mexican gumbo/soup was okay. Again nothing memorable minus the fact that there was a lot of rice and little meat. Way to go Qdoba. Do spend lots of money to invest in building your place then cut costs once your store is built by lacking in portion sizes and flavor/good cooks. There are better places for your Tex-Mex fix. Go elsewhere.
