Highly disappointed with this place. I had ONE appointment and while I liked the therapist, I woke up sick with a fever on the day of my next appointment and they said I’d have to pay $ 40 for a cancellation fee. Really? I didn’t ask to get a fever or be sick? I told them to skip it altogether and I’d find another place in Austin. Not caring people here. Oh, did I mention no one ever told me about the cancellation fee either???

Was referred to Plumeria by a friend. Hearing good things, I checked out their website hoping to find out more. Plumeria’s website is inviting and informative. You can look at each therapists bio as well as their photo and specialties. This was huge for me because I was looking for specifics: a woman with(what I find to be) non threatening features who was reasonably priced and specialized in at least a few of the areas I struggle with. Out of nerves I contacted Plumeria through email and was relieved to be attended to quickly. During my first session my therapist(who is an intern) and I agreed upon a fair price. She was so fair and kind she was willing to drop the price down when I lost my job(I raised it uup again once I found a new employer). Even after taking a 2 year break from therapy I’m with the same girl and we picked up right where we left off. She has helped me through a lot. My only complaint is that, although thorough and efficient, the admin and front desk is lacking in hospitality. They aren’t quite as helpful and kind as I would like to see from such a delicate bussiness.

I went here for several months, and my experience was mostly good, my counselor was an intern, but she was pretty good for me, and we meshed quickly and worked well. My biggest complaint with the week to week was cost, despite being on a sliding scale, I was still spending more than I could afford. What ruined my experience here was my counselor going away for a totally reasonable personal leave, and then despite assuring me we would resume when she got back, never calling and then giving away my time slot along with all of her other available slots, effectively dropping me without a word. When I called to find out, I was not offered a new time slot or really any kind of help. I got good help here, I just wish in the end, that it wasn’t marred by such a lack of professionalism and tact.
