Friendly service, quick turn around, and great price! I would use Personally Yours again for personalizing or monogramming in a heartbeat. Their shop is stocked with adorable gifts that can be personalized. We brought in our own back pack and were very happy with the final product embroidered with my daughter’s name.

Personally Yours is conveniently located within my typical routes for running errands. They have a shop full of all sort of things that can be monogrammed including baby things, pajamas, cover-ups, housewares, and luggage. It would be a fun place to browse if it weren’t for the staff. Aside from the owner, who is generally friendly and efficient, the other workers tend to be aloof and or un-interested. I’ve tolerated this attitude throughout two previous purchases, but this time my patience has been exceeded. I recently picked up an order and noticed that a large off-white tote bag had some black marks on it. I asked the employee, «Oh! Do you think this will come off?»… thinking that she would say something along the lines of, «Oh my goodness, let me work on that right away!». But, instead, she said flatly, «That should come off with goo-gone.» Silence. I waited for her to continue until I realized she intended for me to walk out with a brand new monogrammed bag with black marks on it and fix it myself. So, I said, «Great, do you have some?» This seemed to fluster her. I tried to busy myself with browsing while she retrieved some cleaner and started scrubbing. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that she had stopped cleaning it and left it on the counter for me to retrieve without saying a word to me, such as «Ok! Got it! Came off with no problem-sorry you had to wait!» There were so many things wrong with this interaction. I came into the shop excited to pick up a gift that I’d waited quite a while for. This employee and I could have had a pleasant interaction and I could have left feeling like I’d received good service from someone who cares about their customers. If these types of experiences don’t bug you, then you’ll probably be fine at Personally Yours. I find that I’d rather spend my money with people who provide a well-rounded experience for me if at all possible, so my next personalized gift will likely be purchased elsewhere.

I have been shopping here for about 20 years and I just love it! They have great original gifts. Their camp inventory is unmatched and when it’s rush time, the sorority gifts are plentiful, and there is a lot to choose from. I have bought themed gifts, from UT platters to Thanksgiving & Christmas gifts. There is a small selection of wedding gifts(mostly frames) and a nice selection of baby gifts. As Alison S. mentioned, they have a lot of seasonal gifts and will order things for you if you ask. Personally Yours is a jewel when it comes to Austin specialty shops.

Unprofessional and slow in dealing with a batch of 100 invitations. Things ultimately did turn out OK, but not without a huge amount of hassle along the way. Our job involved three professionally designed custom graphics. The store failed to properly convey the necessary technical specifications needed for these graphics. Merely providing the dpi requirement is insufficient(I personally didn’t know that at the time, but the shop certainly should have). The process of getting a final proof was dragged out through a period of about three weeks. The shop never called us, and nothing got done unless we called them. The three weeks included an inexplicable final delay of one week where the shop claimed our graphic files were(1) incorrectly colored and(2) pixelated. However, this was not the case. After our professional graphic designer pulled out her hair trying to figure out what was wrong with the files, she discovered that there was literally nothing wrong at all. After the shop realized they had been incorrect, they simply used the files they had previously received one week prior. No apology for the delay. The real icing on the cake for me was that instead of being apologetic(or even merely being courteous) in dealing with these issues, the shop was borderline insulting, stating that their printer«deserved a gift basket» for all the trouble we’d put them through! Most(all) of the trouble arose, however, from(1) Personally Yours failing to convey all the necessary information up-front; and(2) Personally Yours(and/or their printer) being technically incompetent. In conclusion, if you choose to use this shop for a printing job, I wish you the best of luck – you’ll need it.

Have a girl going to camp? You have to go here! This store operates seasonally(I think…) and during the summer, it is based off of camps. You can find everything you need here to be the cutest and most outfitted girl at camp. They have things for all of the big Texas camps, and if you need something for a camp they don’t have, you can usually ask and they will make it. Everything from trunks, pillowcases, towels, stationary, t-shirts, and shorts, to gifts parents can send their kids. All of their stuff is really cute, lots of it is hand-painted, and their selection is HUGE. They also have a lot of stuff for sorority gifts.
