I went to Patika to go work and stayed for several hours. They have a good amount of space, so it was not too crowded. They have a variety of table sizes and all are quite spacious(my laptop is HUGE, so any table I can have my laptop, mouse pad, and coffee mug, I am quite happy with!) I enjoyed the music but it was a tad loud for my tastes when I’m working. I had to leave during a conference call because of the music and carrying of voices. So all in all, a great study/work space if you don’t mind noise. P. S. I’m a little biased to cute/fun mugs, so I was a little disappointed by the plain, white, normal-shaped mug. :(Fun mugs make me happy and my coffee house experience more enjoyable. So this(I admit superficial and menial) detail is reflected in my rating. :)

As stated before, the coffee here is very smooth. My wife got an iced coffee, and I got a latte. The prices are very reasonable, and the location is good if you’re doing a little bit of downtown walking. The person working the counter didn’t really talk much, but we’re not much for small talk anyway. Overall, I would suggest getting coffee from here.

Please fix the wifi … spotty/slow, if not this would be a five star coffee shop, easily. Beautifully laid out and designed, spacy desks to work on, quiet, and decent amount of parking, but the wifi either cuts out every 5 minutes(might have something to do with the wifi band they’re on … might interfere with bluetooth devices), or is slow.

Let me tell you folks, I am a picky coffee drinker! I love this place, though. Their coffee was really tasty and the flavor was very subtle without having the«burnt» taste that many coffee places will have in their coffee. The service was quick and the ambience is nice to just have a little chat with a nice cup of coffee! The parking is limited but we were there at a random time of day so it was ok for us. Ramen Tatsuya is right across the street almost so if you need to kill time before or after meeting your friends there then stop in and have a cuppa coffee like we did!

Oh boy do I love a Texas hot dog! This hit the spot just right. The line was really long but worth the wait. Definitely worth the wait!

A non assuming coffee truck. I walked by this place without suspecting it’s presence. Ordered their latte. Really flavorful and consistent in taste. The latte could’ve been a little bitter. But that’s just me. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Cool coffee truck in the Frank parking lot on 4th between Congress and Colorado. I had a good cold brew from a nice barista inside the truck. She was friendly and I overheard her taking the time to give out taco recommendations to another couple of out-of-towners. They also take credit cards!

Why go to Starbucks when you can get your coffee from a truck and not have to worry about a ten person line? Besides better quality coffee & beans, Patika puts the love into your drink & swirls your latte with a leaf.

This place is so charming! I walked by it on my way to work and tried their iced coffee(cold brew of course) with some milk and house-made vanilla syrup. What a perfect treat for a hot Austin day. Highly recommend. Their coffee is rich and silky without any acidity or bitterness. The baristas are also very friendly and there are some cute seats around the truck.

Fresh brew of iced vanilla latte please! Nespresso status! This is always a must stop for me each time I visit Austin. Their coffee is consistently rich & creamy. I’m sure it’s a double espresso for it to taste a tad bit strong. Oh so yummy! The coffee shop is actually served from a small tiny aluminum trailer with the same hip barista each time we go there. The only down side is you would have to pay to park in the lot or they’ll be quick to tow you. Side Note: If there are more than one of you going, have the passenger run out to place the order while the driver drives around to save you that unnecessary parking fee.

A great quick stop for coffee in downtown without a long line. Coffee is a little expensive, but it’s so good. I recommend the Chai latte with almond milk.

I ordered the creamiest, dreamiest, most well-blended vanilla soy latte from this cute little stand. Man is it smooth. It bears absolutely no resemblance to the mess you get from Starbucks. In fact, I walked two blocks past the Starbucks on Congress to reach Patika Coffee. It was worth the extra steps. Perfectly warm & friendly service at their stand as well!

There should be a distinct category on Unilocal for places that are so pristine they deserve a glowing review– but you don’t want anyone to find out about it. Patika is one of those places. It is plush, elegant, bright, and sophisticated(kinda like me…). The inside is perfect for working, and there’s a cute patio outside, too. There, I let the cat outta the bag. Patika is awesome and totally Austin!

Woohoo! My first five star – and that’s saying something. Honestly, their coffee could have been better. Their espresso was AWESOME, but their latte had a little too much milk for me. Just a little bit less, and I think I would have thought they had the perfect cup of coffee. That being said, their service was so amazing that I don’t even want to say anything bad about this place. I wish I remembered the name of the barista who handled my coffee because he was so sweet and friendly. Service definitely does so much to someone’s experience, and he was one of the friendliest baristas I’ve ever met! Had a great conversation with him despite being in the rain. Great service. Great coffee. Recommend to anyone in town visiting – if there’s any coffee place you should try, it’s Patika.

Good coffee and fast service. Can’t ask for better. This was a perfect spot to stop on our way to Franklin BBQ. We knew we would be in line a while and this was a good first stop. Surprisingly no one was in line so we were in and out in a jiffy. The are in a good location which is easy to get to from anywhere in Austin. Nice big parking lot incase it does get busy. There is construction around the area but just masquest it and you should have no problems. Just look for the one silver food trunk in a large parking lot. If you see FRANK on the side of the building that’s it! Got and iced and hot coffee. Both the coffees were good and didn’t have that burnt taste like it would from a chain joint. Didn’t think it would be that good but was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend it to someone in downtown Austin.
