Just called to place a carry out order. Was placed on hold for 5+ minutes. Before I placed the order the female employee taking our order told us that there are no carry out specials tonight but she would give us 50% off our order if we guaranteed to leave her a tip when we picked it up. WHAT? I mentioned that we had seen multiple specials online and she told me that location doesn’t offer any. We declined her super sketchy offer and headed to the grocery to pick up a frozen pie.

If you order here, there’s a 50⁄50 shot your order will be right. Especially with online orders. They always find a way to screw something up. The one on burnet is much more efficient.

This place is an enigma– like a slice of confusion. That’s not what you want from a pizza place, right? Every time I come here I have a different experience. Last time I came the whole was seamlessly easy, and the lady had already stuffed parmesan and crushed red pepper packets into the edge of my box. She was on it and friendly! The two or three times before I came the employees either don’t know or don’t explain well the promotions on the phone, much less don’t know how to use the coupons in the store. When I come to pick it up, it’s very disorganized, few manners, and an awkward transaction. Then I kick myself for coming back. I hope my last experience there continues to be the norm. I will give it one last shot(because I freaken love Papa John’s flavour), but I hope they don’t try to get saucy with me again! Bazinga!

Do not order online. Their website and customer service is NON-EXISTENT. Ordered online for a birthday party. Never got the pizza. Wrote to them, never got a reply.

I don’t usually order from chain pizza spots. the food tends to be boring, but at least it is edible. the wife and I were tired and decided to order pizzA from Pappa Johns. we were surprised when it arrived in 15 minutes. unfortunately the product was useless. the pizza was uncooked. half the pizza was raw dough and the other half was cooked. we threw the pizza away. I didn’t bother calling to complain or ask for a replacement, cuz you could imagine what kind if special sauce that would have contained. we gave this papa johns location a shot. now $ 25 dollars down the tube, NEVERAGAIN

This particular Papa Johns pizza location does not know or understand customer service at all! I was in a different side of town and chose this location to pick up my online order. I walked in to the place while a driver was standing near the front counter counting his money and he did call out to «Shane» in the back that a customer had entered — no response, I stood at counter for another minute, driver calls out again«Shane» — Shane now answers«tell them to go home». Now I can take a joke and maybe if he would have followed that up with coming up to the front, I may have laughed. However, Shane never made it up to the front and continued to remain in the back. Driver is sympathetic and shaking his head and agreeing that someone should come and offer service. Finally a young man comes up to the counter and he is trying to wipe down the side of it all without a word, then goes and get the General manager to evaluate his work. Now we are getting somewhere, surely the General Manager, will ask if I’ve been helped! But why should he be different — the service was obviously as good as its leadership. He came up to the counter that I’m standing at and inspected the young man’s wipe down and gave him some more instructions, briefly walked to the back to retrieve something and THENITHAPPENED — «Can I help you» This whole scene played out in a total of 6 minutes. I paid for my pizza which he said would be ready soon without checking. I asked the driver that had been taking this all in — if he thought my pizza could already be ready since I had ordered it online, but he wasn’t sure and not moving to check the rack. Finally the General manager decided to check and found my pizza while other waiting in line with the same fate as I have just described — waiting just to be noticed. This is not what I’m normally use to when I go to my Papa John’s in the Pflugerville/Round Rock area. I’m greeted promptly and with a smile, pizza is ready and hot since I always order ahead online. In/Out in a matter of less than 2 minutes. I too wish that I could pick no stars for this rating. I will never use this Papa Johns location on Barbara Jordan in Austin, TX again!

I go back and forth on my opinions of chains vs. local businesses. I try to spend my money at as many local establishments as I can, but sometimes I just like the chain better. This Papa johns has always been good to me. It is my favorite chain pizza and frankly tastes great to me. I do like local places like Homeslice, but for the price, I will almost always lean towards Papa johns. I’m poor, I’m sorry. This place has never screwed up my order, it’s always on time and they send out free pizza deals all the frickin time for online orders. Favorite order is a large veggie pizza with parmesan breadsticks and hot wings, which I can get for about $ 16 with a free pizza deal. I love being able to easily order and customize pizzas/orders online, it’s super convenient. There are some stone patio seats and tables outside this business if you want to eat there.

I just ordered from this Papa John’s after multiple issues(User error I’m sure) on the website, I was able to place an order. It ended up being for one garlic tub. I have no idea how my pizza went missing. The General Manager gave me a call to let me know my order was missing it’s pizza. He was kind of enough to give me my pizza for free since I had so many struggles with the site. It was so nice of him and made our night! Thank you again! Edit: Ouch! After calling to make sure I wanted an extra garlic and cheese, they didn’t bring the extra garlic cup and cheese. That happens everytime. But I am still very very thankful and will leave my rating at 5 just for the General Manager alone.

Let’s face it: Papa John’s isn’t gourmet pizza, but it’s pretty darn good for chain pizza. They’ve always gotten my order right or made right by me if it wasn’t to my liking. My food is always hot and the ingredients fresh. Screw the haters. If you want gourmet, go get gourmet, but this place isn’t deserving of the hate that it’s gotten from other reviewers.

This place is crap. I’m not a super fan of papa johns to begin with. I mean let’s face it, dominos is the lord and savior of all crappy fast food pizza. But yeah this store won’t deliver to my apartment which is less than 2 miles from the store. Whoever answered the phone was brain dead. It was one of those days when it was 108 outside and i didn’t wanna leave the house for lunch. So i call up the papa and BOOOOM! No dice. So I did what any hungry honest hard working American would do and called wing zone. Zero stars papa johns. shape up or ship out.

Can I give no stars? This place has really gone down hill in the last 6 months. Last time I ordered from them, it took 90 minutes to get a pizza. This time, I’m coming up on two hours. The manager blames it on the drivers. Poor drivers… er… driver. Way to go, Daddy.
