Super friendly staff, beautiful scenery, and an awesome relaxed feel to enjoy a nice, cold brew.

You simply have to come here if you’re visiting Austin. There’s no two ways about it — theres brews, bites, and a view that’ll knock your socks off. This is an awesome spot to just come to enjoy the simpler things of life — you will NOT be disappointed. You’re treated to views of rolling hills(yes Austin has hills), amazing villas, and the greenest of green lakes. The villas are breathtaking as well to drive by. On the left hand side there is a restaurant with umbrellas — it’s totes Italian riviera style. There’s no doubt about it, we’ll be back!

Heavenly alternative to the unrelated tourist fly trap next door. Great beer, great view, way better food than regular Oasis and more of a local feel. Tad tricky to find in the complex but they do their best to point the way

Great beers with an even better view. The vibe is a lot less touristy then The Oasis. People hanging out playing cornhole, jenga and pool. Sipping on delicious beers while sitting on top of a cliff overlooking the beautiful Lake Travis. We took our family who are world travelers and they have pretty much been everywhere. One of them said they had never seen a view like that anywhere in the world. This will definitely be a place where we take out-of-towners.

Great experience at this brewery! Was warmly greeted by the door man and redeemed my barks for beers free pour. First time there and before I asked for some samples the bartender was already on top of it and pouring some great recommendations. Definitely going back to see the sunset since I went at nighttime.

The first time I went there, my experience was very good. Nice craft beers, good service, and amazing views of LT. I went again today, growler in hand, and upon arrival, the place was closed. I was there after opening hours(moon on Saturdays), and there wasn’t jack on their web site about them being closed today or having limited hours. It’s not like I live right around the corner… it’s a good 45 minute drive for me to get there. Yeah…pretty pissed off at them… not sure if I’ll waste my time in the future. My advice… call first to inquire if they feel like doing business the day you go. Okay…I feel I need to update my review… After posting my first review, Spencer Tielkemeier, the head brewer, actually emailed me apologizing up and down for being closed. Evidently, they had a private event and forgot to post on their web site. Mistakes happen, and I understand. Spencer invited us back and we took him up on his request. It was a perfect Saturday afternoon, and Marissa took good care of us. My wife had sangria, and I had a few pints of their delicious IPA. There are few venues where you can get the atmosphere, the view, the service, and the personal attention of management like OBC. Whether your visiting the Austin area or you are a resident that wants to have fun, this is a must stop. Thanks again Spencer and Marissa.

If you want to grab a nice beer with a view and don’t mind a quick jaunt from downtown, I’d highly recommend checking the oasis brewing company It’s a favorite spot for us to take the out of towners, and could be really fun place to spend a whole afternoon with a group playing corn hole on a cliff overlooking lake travis. And the beer is delicious too.

Beer: 5 stars Staff: 5 stars View: 5 stars My absolute fav spot on(or above) the lake. I have been coming to OBC since the soft opening and have seen it grow from a few employees and locals to the only place that I would want to have beer on the lake. THANKGODOBC has NO affiliation with the Mexican restaurant tourist trap next to it(not even worth mentioning the name). OBC has also hired a chef and is expanding into food. I’ll update my review once I have the food but I am sure it will be great as the execution thus far has been flawless.

Solid 4! Fantastic sessionable beer(all but one offering was below 5% abv) so you don’t have to worry about falling down three flights of stairs as you leave. The view is absolutely stunning, the bartenders were extremely friendly and it is officially puppy approved. I can not wait to make our next pilgrimage to the Oasis Brewing Company after a hike or swim. I will revise the review if the food impresses. Added bonus? Mix and match 6-packs of their year-round offerings for $ 7. So get some to take home at a great price.

Tasty beer, good prices, phenomenal service and it all comes with view! The husband and I stopped by for a post-hike happy hour and had several selections in the tap room. We loved our bartender. The patio is pup friendly and we went home with a pick 6 from the bar for 7 $(usually 9 $ at HEB) We will be returning soon!

Just an absolutely amazing place! Incredible views of Lake Travis. Beers are very good, especially Metamodern, my personal favorite session IPA. Another plus about the beers is all that were on tap were under 5% abv, meaning you can enjoy yourself and stay responsible. Staff was great too, very friendly and happy to be working at a great place. My wife and I can up from San Antonio just to visit this place and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Poor Oasis Texas Brewing Co. suffers from a really random location. Yes, the views are great but the complex they’re in screams a sad Disney World or something. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it but the place is seriously weird — like a ghost town. Half of the store fronts are closed and abandoned. The ones that were open were dead. Not sure if we hit them on an off day but it seems unlikely. The tap room could have easily held 500+ people. There were maybe 20 patrons there when we visited on a Monday afternoon. All of the staff looked bored. The beer itself was just ok. This spot is definitely banking on its views, which I have to admit are impressive and worth the drive, empty tap room, ok beers and all.

This establishment offers one of the greatest views in all of Central Texas. If you want to drink some decent local beers while watching a legendary Texas sunset, this is the place to come. Just be sure to arrive early if you want a table to sit at by time sunset rolls around. While it bears the Oasis name, the Oasis Texas Brewing Company is a separate entity from that infamously bad restaurant. Their beers cost around $ 6/pint with the exception of cans of Luchesa Lager, which were only $ 2. They have wines for $ 8/glass and a host of other beers available on tap and in bottle. You can also make your own 6-pack of their beers to-go for only $ 7. I’d highly recommend against getting the $ 20 all-you-can-eat fajita buffet. It’s not particularly good and definitely not worth the cost even if it’s bottomless. While it’s not difficult to get plates of food to share with your friends, they don’t particularly like it when you do that.

What a view!!! The beer is great too! I always heard a lot about Oasis but never had a chance to come visit. I finally had some beer drinking friends in town and thought it would be a great place to take them. We arrived around 5pm on a Friday and the place was dead but the brewery was open and ready for business. We all ordered the $ 10 flights which were awesome! Most glasses were filled quite high and you have the option to substitute any beer you may not like. They will even let you try them all first. And to top it all off, the view is just amazing. While I am sure many people have already seen the view from the restaurant next door, it was new to me. P. S. The brewery and the restaurant are not related in any way(other then the name). You can not order the beer at the restaurant and you can not order the food at the brewery.

Oh wow. Love this place. The view is just beautiful of the lake. The craft beer is really really good. If you like craft beer and a great view to relax by this is your place. The bartender was super helpful explaining the kinds of beer they offer. She gave us a free sip to see what we wanted. She knew her stuff. They offer pints or pitchers. Prices are normal for craft beer. We will definitely be back. Great place to go for a pint and relax.

I came here with my kids and company after a horrible 2nd experience at the Oasis. I was so glad to know they are not affiliated! We were greeted warmly and grabbed the kids some bites which were featured on their patio, along with the Sunday selection of a delicious meat plate which I was able to order GF after modifying it from original sandwich form. We sat down at a bench near the large block Jenga set which was a huge hit. I ordered the kids some juices & some delicious sangria(which I will order with less ice as it comes tasting slightly watered down) The tenders at the bar area were quick and knew their way around which I appreciate. It would be great if they could offer some good apple or pear ciders. I will be returning!

Enjoyed a great Friday afternoon and evening here. The view really has to be seen to be appreciated. Great outdoor patio with tall chairs or short chairs, both with tables. Perfect unobstructed view of Lake Travis, which was beautiful and mostly full for a change. An outdoor bar serving some great Oasis Brewing options. The bartender was hip and friendly and she let us sample four of the brews just to get an idea of what was available. We tried the pale ale, ipa, lager and an ale. We were in a mood for the lager, although they were all good. We sat on the patio next to the rail and enjoyed ourselves while we watched the sun set. Doesnt get much better than that… until they lit the fire pit. The large fire pit accomodates several people around it, and it was a great way to cap off the evening. The food offerings are limited, but we tried the hamburger and the tots and they were excellent. We ate them beside the fire pit, and it had a real camp out feel to it. The burger had a fresh taste and the cheese was perfectly melted. There is also indoor seating, but the weather was too nice. Another amazing thing was the lack of patronage on a beautiful Friday afternoon and evening. Still a secret I guess. Do yourself a favor and check out this place before word gets out and it becomes seriously packed.

Came here on a hot afternoon looking for a getaway. The brewery is located on the top floor towards the back of the relatively empty shopping center. The have indoor and outdoor seating and serve food as well as beer and drinks. Tried one of their beers as well as their seasonal sangria. The sangria sample the bartender gave me was delish. It was cinnamon apple flavored and reminded me of the coming holidays on the east coast. The actual drink not so much. They serve the sangria over a large amount of ice. It’s refreshing but the taste is so diluted that you don’t get any of the flavor and for 12 bucks, you’re basically drinking watery juice. The main attraction besides beer is the view. It’s a breathtaking overlook of the lake. Great for a lazy afternoon beer and an amazing view.

Why people don’t go here instead of the Oasis is beyond me! First of all — the VIEW. It’s amazing! Just as amazing as at the Oasis, I promise! THEBEER. It’s great. You can get a flight(2 oz. of all six beers) for $ 10. Our group loved the session IPA and the sour. We didn’t have any food, but there is a food truck there, as well. They have games — bar-sized Jenga, cornhole, and more. Dog-friendly! Amazing seating options — outside and inside(garage doors are opened on a pretty day), huge misting fans, and a fire pit. This place is AWESOME. Now that I’ve been to OTXBC and the Oasis, I know that if visitors come to Austin I’d take them here rather than the Oasis! It’s a great place to hang out with friends!

So they won an award at Great American Beer Festival for London Homesick, and personally I think Meta Modern Session IPA is their best beer, but damn.. decent beer is totally just bonus on top of the place itself. …THATVIEW! *sparkly hearts HERE* You ain’t in the industrial park anymore, son! $ 10 gets you a flight of all available beers(8 or 10 of them, if I remember correctly), there was live music(worth noting that the band playing yesterday was comprised of 3 of the most badass 8 – 10 year olds Evarrrr! Seriously great, in no small part because they were jamming The Pixies and stuff), and there was a menu board advertising Cuban sammiches, though we didn’t partake. Standard brewery games are available(seriously, who *wouldn’t* want a game of corn hole with that view? ?), and there are a bunch of fun boutiques in The Oasis center in general(browse the rad little record shop — Groover’s Paradise — with a beer in hand. .yasssss!) Fantastic place. .do it!
