This is a perfect store if you’re in a hurry for beer, cheap wine, and, cheap lunch meat. This is your place for sure. Store is spacious with room for growth. I think they would do well if they put in a hot dog roller or something of the like. This store is in a neighborhood and has a lot of potential for attracting the locals, especially those on foot. Maybe they should have a taco truck open up in the parking lot?

This place is neither owned by Ted Nugent nor can it be considered a grocery store. That said it’s a reliable convenient store to get the basics. Nugent took over the old B&M Transmission shop on Justin Lane, just a scoot removed from Lamar, right across the street from Walgreens. Chips, snacks, candy, canned goods, basically your typical 7-Eleven processed food fare. Great selection of beer. Off the top of my head they had Alaskan, Leinenkugels, Shock Top, Sierra, even Rahr & Sons out of Ft. Worth. For those that live near the MetroRail, this seems like a pretty easy place to grab those last-minute brews for your backyard BBQ or that football game on TV. The Walgreens is notorious for having lousy beer choices, and the nearby liquor stores aren’t much better in the selection department. It’s no Crestview Minimax — the selection there is worlds better — but is convenient if you live around here.
