Mobile Mechanic ATX

These guys won’t take anything but cash, and halted work partway through until I could come up with the money. They don’t provide a receipt or documented warranty for their work either. Working with them felt more like a shakedown than a professional service. There’s some question as to whether they diagnosed the problem correctly as well — mechanic replaced the alternator, later found out it was the battery that (also?) died.

After writing this review I had to opportunity to contact the owner, Erica. She had apologized and explained how this serious incident was not to be taken lightly but be accountable and responsible for what had happened. She was very understanding and promptly paid me thru PayPal for the value of my knife. She also mention that this kind of incidents are not tolerated with her company and that the employee involved in the incident no longer works there. She offered her mobile mechanic services and her personal phone number if I ever wanted to use her services again. For all her efforts to resolve this issue, I believe she has demonstrated the principles of being fair & just and taken accountability and responsibility for her company’s actions. That is why I will rate her company 5 stars and will still consider using her mobile mechanic services in the future.

Called these guys last minute to replace my starter. Arrived a little later than scheduled, but was very satisfied with the work done and the same day mobile service was very clutch. Will definitely keep these guys in mind if I need any future repairs.
