I am a project manager for ATX Brands here in Austin.
Recently I found Shawn in a Craigslist ad, and I am sure glad I did. He does exceptional work, and really made my visions come to light.
He helped us turn an old (very old) run down church into a corporate office. We used a lot of different species of wood, and Shawn helped it all come together.
Shawn helped us design and build a large L-​shaped desk, an over sized workstation table, an entire bell tower, and a custom desk for one of our offices. The work he did was great, and he was reasonable on the price. He has an artistic eye that can help bring your vision to light. He knows wood, and knows how to make it work.
I have worked with many carpenters, and having Shawn on the job was a delight. He showed up early, and ready to work every day I asked. Many of the photos on here are of the job I am describing. I will try to post more photos. Words really can’t do justice to the work that was done.

We had an excellent experience working with Shawn on the remodel of our downtown loft. Shawn was able to understand our vision for the improvements right away. He always took our suggestions for changes seriously and often expounded on them, a departure from some of the other contractors we’ve worked with who seem to dismiss client’s ideas for their own. Shawn is a true craftsman, and the work has an excellent finish and polish that we will enjoy for a long time. Above all that he is a good and honorable person to work with. We hope to have the pleasure again soon!

Shawn just performed two small home improvements for me. The first was to replace a door frame that was damaged. The second was to remove some cabinets and patch up the floor tile in it’s place. Both jobs were done 100% to my satisfaction. I have to say his costs were a bit high, but I had a tight time frame, and the jobs were done right, so no complaints.

I am happily posting this for a friend that «doesn’t do computers.» She still raves about Shawn!
